Fabulous video, Cary!! So beautifully put together, absolutely stunning! 😁👊👍 I'm going to start the GR20 about 10th October and you've given me a great taste for how it will be - thankyou!! 😁
Thanks for watching. It means a lot to me. Mid October was the perfect time for me last year. I hope you have favorable weather. The GR20 is a tough one, but so rewarding. Take care.
Cheers Cary! Your trip looked idylic!! I'm flying out tomorrow. First two days have sun, then it looks as though I'll have a fair bit of rain!😮 Flight back isn't until 16 days later, so I've got a good buffer..
This is an enchanting video. The drone shots of the eye in the rock at the start and the ending are stunning. It's as if the island is gazing at you directly. Beautiful atmosphere with the autumn leaves. Respect for the late arrivals and early departures from camp!
Thank you, Mario! I had some technical issues with my drone the first half of the trek, so I wasn't able to get the kind of clips I wanted to, but overall I'm happy with what I shot.
@@CaryMercer Were there any refuges open at that point anymore? I have been planning late September/Early October as it does not seem to be that crazy warm anymore at that point.
@@Kivi-Stoo Not technically open in the sense of someone working there, but the doors are open for many. I don't know the exact refuges that had doors open, but I would say it was around 50/50 for those open and those closed. I think if you go late September, likely to have many still open.
@@CaryMercer yea learned that from you sec vid! good that it's allowed to camp there, more countries should initiate the right to roam like scandinavia
Any feedback would be helpful and appreciated. Thank you for watching! 🙂
Thanks Cary for your video on top of all the hard climbing, love the autumn light, the colours and the quiet. best wishes
Thank you! :-) I'm glad I went in October. Nice colours and cooler temperatures. I appreciate you watching and subscribing. Take care.

I'm so in love with the view of Corsica 😍🙏🏻
I'm happy to hear that. It is a beautiful place. I especially loved the forests and the many rivers.
Another banger! Great work Cary! Corsica looks incredible through your lens. A fantastic choice of music too ;) Looking forward to part two

@@CaryMercer Yeah, you should be as nobody would recognize. I know that feeling, being alone on the trail preparing the drone and the ERROR haha
Absolutely spectacular work, these shots and cinematography are breathtaking! You created small masterpiece here. 🔥🔥
Thank you for the praise. 😊👍
Superb!

Superbe et magique!

did you wild camp (is it allowed?) the whole time or stop by at some huts as well?
Hi! I mostly camped at the huts. None of the huts were manned (I went in the middle of October). The season had just ended.
