@@swagboy4075 no its not a loop. its a flip. they arent the same thing. the 2 bars is made up of a 1 bar sample, which is pitch shifted to two different pitches. hence "flipping" the sample. the fact that it went untraced for almost 30 years is just crazy. i dont think anyone discovered this sample, i think havoc told someone

He's not a rapper, but I always thought that Premo is a damn good MC - the way he works the crowd and his energetic voice just keep you on your toes. I once saw Pete Rock live and he was the polar opposite, almost boring (not counting the music though, just the performance/interaction behind the decks)
