I've been at that shrine in Akihabara. We were also told that people come to pray for success in computer and IT careers. I walked around Akihabara a few times. One of the reasons I like your videos is that I get to see places I've been. I also like your adorable guests.

I grew up in Japan as a military brat and lived near Tokyo for 8 years. I finally returned for the first time in 2018 and went to Akihabara. In my 2 weeks there, I got to see all over Japan but my one day in Akihabara was very special to me and stands out for so many reasons. I loved visiting Japan's country side and famous places Kyoto, Takayama, Nikko, Hiroshima, Miyajima Island, etc. and wouldn't miss that for the world but I may stay just in the Tokyo area if I ever get back to Japan.
what a masochistic life
I was lucky to study abroad for half a year in Kansai Gaidai and I loved seeing Kyoto and Osaka and stuff too. I never really saw Tokyo. So I flew back maybe a year or so later (2004?) and visited my friend Hiro who I had actually met in the States at university. He didn't even live there but went to meet me. I stayed in a capsule hotel for a few days. Was very much fun for a 20-something year old :) At the time I found that compared to Korea, Japanese people were very dapper and depressed. I also did a home stay so I got to see how things are. In Korea people seemed more bon vivant but this was also rose coloured glasses because I was dating a Korean chick while then studying in Japan lol.
As a military brat I was lucky enough to grow up in The Netherlands and Germany :) I served a tiny few year or two myself but my dad was the hero, retiring after 20 years in the Army. Thanks to him I got to experience a lot.
Her english is so good and very clear I heard everything she saying 💯and I enjoyed listening too her 🥰!! Philippines , Mexican , German , and Japanese are languages I’ve all ways wanted to learn how to speak...🙋🏽♂️I would love to learn from her she’s makes it fun...
