Don't listen to that crap about talking too much, those guys don't know squat and are probably the same people who campout in the left lane and make everyone go around them because they've decided that they're the ones enforcing the speed limit. Keep being the big lug that you are and ignore the naysayers.
Keep it up! I especially liked hearing you break down the difference between a roots and screw superchargers. Your channel is informative and that’s why I watch it.
I love these guys! I'm not the biggest fan of npk but very informative. Their cars are insane. I am working hard so that I may have my dream car. These guys are easy to look up to and are a great role model. Best of luck 🍀
Excellent job breaking down the rules and applicable changes. You made it easy for non gearheads to follow and comprehend. Also, you are the only driver I've heard discuss the rule changes this year and how it will affect you as well as the competition. I wish you and John the best of luck and hope you guys do well!
Where have you been the past few weeks then Brian? All the big names in NPK have had video’s out discussing this very topic in the same manner Jim just did except most went into much more detail and most of those videos are nearly an hour long so Jim is a bit late to the game here discussing this. (No offense meant Jim)
Great epi Jim explaining the rules and more so the Blower situation and the diff between a Roots, Screw and Centrifcal . I have used procharger on a Harley i built and its a great product however one has to ask if Procharger sets on the rule board....
THANK YOU BROTHER JIM ! VERY WELL DONE ! BEING FROM MICHIGAN MYSELF,I NICKNAMED YOUR TEAM ,"TEAM HOMEGROWN" ! TALK AS MUCH AS YOU WANT SIR ,WE WILL BE HERE ! BEST WISHES ,TO YOU AND YOURS ! 🇺🇲
Love the talking videos you are a guy with a life time experience that knowledge is precious and would love to here it there is a TV show for the racing
I love that you Trolled people! I remember watching that episode and I was thinking why isn't everyone doing that! So I guess you trolled me too! Keep up the hard work!
I enjoy your technical Outlook also like your attitude toward the new rules so far I have seen Ryan Martin's comments positive and Justin's swanstrom comments both positive as well
As always a very good video thanks for sharing and being who you are. have you ever heard of Billy Big Deal Jacobs raced for chrysler years ago from Alabama just wondered
Great episode. I appreciate all the info. And this is the first place I’ve heard the rules. So technically I have a gen3 hemi which is considered a small block (427ci) with a single 106mm turbo What would I get to weigh?
You're the only one explaining the rules, I'll never afford to run with you at your level (I'm disabled and probably building my last nostalgia gasser) but it's interesting to learn what is going on.
Great job Jim, Mixing racing with discussions like this and teaching the difference between the blowers are great. Keep it up. Question. You mentioned that there will be a review of the combinations after 3 races or every three races. If they implement changes, how will that affect the schedule? Depending on the changes, it could cause small budget teams to drop out all together.
Definitely prefer the shop talk and behind the scenes. There’s enough channels showing cars going down the track. I want to learn more. No where near that level of racing but run high 5’s in the 1/8th with a footbrake small block.
Subscribed!!! I absolutely love no pep kings. Your team made some big moves. You honestly have a legitimate shot this season at the title. Good luck stay safe!!!
i forgot to wish well this tear. . Some obewill pick uoi the first round . You'll br an excellent team player, If I wsa cpatian , you woul dbe my first pick. Good luck!!
How’s the screw blower technology these day for something that sized? For example I have a 2003 terminator cobra. Back in the day a kenny bell at 20 pounds would struggle to make 600rwhp. I have the newest VMP blower and easily eclipse that with 16 pounds of boost. Just a much more efficient blower. Have there been any major changes to roots/screw blowers at your level?
Bad asses do bad ass things . This is the guy I cheer for when watching the show . Black and white no bullshit kind of guy . The kind of people I like . Great informative video .
Weight breaks are fine and all…but unless the guys are ready to build all new cars, or cut up and make changes, I’m not sure some of those cars can get down to the new “caps” anyway. Just depends on their program I guess. Go give ‘em hell mr. Howe!
Just wondering can you nhra pro mod mybe when not NPK racing. Your running just as fast as they are and your 400 ponds heavier. Really be cool as hell to see you and your team and John's GTR go and kick ass over there.
When Kye & company have their lockups working(and not trying to wreck them), it's wild how those Musi nitrous cars take off at the top end! Before last season with the blower cars coming in hot, it looked like Kye may have had the next best trap speed to Robin Roberts(his car is always rolling up top), but that's just pure guessing from heavily edited races of course.
If I'm a Procharger car and can get to the base weight, you would think they would try out that 136. That's a ton of weight and I'm pretty sure Eric K already runs that?
You have to talk in order to make a video so forget those who don't want you to talk and just like a few other people have said in the comments when you talk and we listen is how you teach us about your sport and style of drag racing the only piece of advice is can you get a microphone so we can hear you better but I appreciate the video so now we know what you guys have to deal with on and off the track and the rules everyone has to follow this year but in my opinion I think the only reason they hit you guys with the deduction of overdrive on the blower is it started with Justin Swanstrom at his local race the US Nationals where they had the Pro Mod race and even though ya'lls car's are way heavier than the Pro Mods he still had to follow their rules to run in the class and he had to run at 92% overdrive just like they did and he made a minimal amount of runs just because he was getting faster and faster and he was afraid that someone was going to see what he was running and hit you guys with a rule change and then you, John, and Jeff went to World Cup and really set the world on fire with the blistering passes you guys laid down in the ¼ mile and then you and John went to TX2K to run in the exhibition class and set the world on fire again in the ¼ and to be honest if I were you guys and had that opportunity to run ¼mile in one of them cars I would turn it up as much as the track allowed and ran the biggest overdrive to spin the blower as fast as I could and I would also ran a Nitromethane mix to give it even more horsepower and I would've ran the 36in tire to give me the best chance of getting down the track but back to you guys them seeing how fast all of you ran in the ¼ and in the 8th at those events made them decide to make those rule changes but I hope it's for the best and I hope the field of cars is the closest together than it ever has been this year but only time will tell and I hope that all these guys over the internet that have a car that can run with you guys and they meet all the rules to run with you actually bring their car's out this year and they have an even bigger and better and more competitive field of cars than they ever have this coming season and one last thing I'm glad your video came across my feed because for some reason I was unsubscribed to your channel and I was one of the OG subscribers to begin with but hopefully I fixed it now and it doesn't happen again
Thank u sir. We actually ran Maryland months before the US street nationals. And fortunately they don't set rules based on how fast we go at different events. But we will continue to run 1/4 mile clocks on when we can. Glad you found the channel. We have a good one dropping in a few hours. Stay tuned.
The first video I watched of you was nothing but talking and I very much enjoyed it because I was learning. Please keep it up.

A class act presentation, truly professional. Thank you.
This is hands down the best rules description I've heard so far. Thanks, Jim!
It's the first one I've heard, other veidos don't say much.
Great video, appreciate the breakdown of the rules. Couldn't have been explained any better. Thanks
Thanks Jim!!! Best of luck this season!!!!
I give you and the team respect for the work done at H.P. wars nobody put in work like you guys did

Great post Jim, you made the points that needed to be made .
very informative---good luck this year.

Good informative content 🇺🇸👍🇺🇸👍
Thank you for the info.
Cool, thank you from a non drag racer but enough of a car guy to understand what you are saying, nicely done.
I don't really have a favorite NPK competitor, but I'd love to see Jim win it all !

i never understood it....
Hello from AUSTRALIA
Welcome!
Great episode. I appreciate all the info. And this is the first place I’ve heard the rules.
So technically I have a gen3 hemi which is considered a small block (427ci) with a single 106mm turbo
What would I get to weigh?
Thanks for explaining the rules. Go kick some ass this year!
I’m behind you a 100% Jim you’re a standup guy and everybody has nothing bad to say about you!!
Keep shining my brother! This next npk is yours!

Keep talking! Folks on the cable side of tv May not know or understand until you do what your doing now. Keep up the good work
Can’t wait to meet you in Bowlingreen
Love it jim that orange hotrod for the win!!!
Bro we watch racing all the time. This channel needs to be more you than anything
Talk as much as you like Jim! Thanks for the information.
Good overview.
Nice content
Great job Jim,

Question. You mentioned that there will be a review of the combinations after 3 races or every three races. If they implement changes, how will that affect the schedule? Depending on the changes, it could cause small budget teams to drop out all together.
I don't expect the changes would be huge. The rules should be pretty close. But you never know what might show up that slipped through the cracks.
Definitely prefer the shop talk and behind the scenes. There’s enough channels showing cars going down the track. I want to learn more. No where near that level of racing but run high 5’s in the 1/8th with a footbrake small block.
Heck yeah. High 5s is nothing to sneeze at. Thanks for commenting
Lutz will be good this year!! He was already on 34.5 🏁
And he’s going to a small block so he will be SUPER light. It will all fall on juniors shoulders to provide consistent tuning.
His blower car will be quicker. Nothing can compete with a well-tuned blower car unless the sanctioning body limits a blower cars ability.
@@fast97z24 hwo much hp will they loose with the changes?
He’s not doing so hot
@@jessedavis1741 yep. Hahaha very not that good! 😂
Hell yeah brother 🙏🏼🏁

Tech talk is ALWAYS GOOD
Keep talking Jim, knowledge is power and those not wanting to learn....... well enough said lol.
We cant wait for the 1st race we bought our super fan tickets 2 months ago right after they listed the race HOWE Motorsports to the front
Best of Luck to You in 2023!
Have FUN, Go FAST, and be SAFE!
What is the engine cubic inch limits for the supercharger cars before you have add weight
Yeah we need the talk, 69 will do awsome. 👍👍
I saw u driving ur RV in Houston
When do we get to see the 1st race on TV?
Bad asses do bad ass things . This is the guy I cheer for when watching the show . Black and white no bullshit kind of guy . The kind of people I like . Great informative video .
Me and dr. Bob like that nitromethane 😃💪
Most people can not reach the weight now...smaller tire...not a small tire..but something like a 33x15...or as close to it as you can get..
Appreciate the talking I’m able to actually learn what’s going on in npk.
What effect will the loss of 6% overdrive equate to?
Weight breaks are fine and all…but unless the guys are ready to build all new cars, or cut up and make changes, I’m not sure some of those cars can get down to the new “caps” anyway. Just depends on their program I guess. Go give ‘em hell mr. Howe!
Woooow first time not hearing no toxic bias talk!
I watch Dragracing because here V8s are almost banned and you have blowers on them, but I'm all mixed about the classes. Is there a video explaining?
Just wondering can you nhra pro mod mybe when not NPK racing. Your running just as fast as they are and your 400 ponds heavier. Really be cool as hell to see you and your team and John's GTR go and kick ass over there.

👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍please turn up volume next time
Rules kinda close to the rule packages as nhra promod and pdra.
What is the ballpark figure of power loss the blower cars will have because of this?
Talk all you want bro. I watch you race on TV
Funny thing is Lutz has been running 34.5 tire for years. Won’t effect him.
Just watching the stat guy ep 21 you fuckin said Puerto Ricans and I love your program that much more now one day id like to shake your hand
Any clutch rules?? I have seen them lock ups hurt as many as it helps.
If i had the budget for Tinzy or another good clutch person. I'd have one in this baby. But no rules for it.

I think the Procharger blocks got a hit on them.. If they are past 521cu there is a weight added onto them.

My old one got hacked and RUclips took it down.

Seriously, has anyone looked at the small block screw blower combination in the npk rules
Honestly, I’d rather hear you talk shop than just see racing.
