Irakkam Varaamal describes a bhakta who is asking Shiva the reason for his indifference. What is the reason that you have no mercy and kindness toward me? Have I not done what is meant to be done? I came to you believing that you are an ocean of mercy and kindness, I heard that you drank poison to save and protect the people who came for your help. Yet when I stand here before you, you show no compassion. Gopalakrishnan ( the composer of the song) , sang your praises as Nataraja, the cosmic dancer and I believed his words.
Whatever mistakes and errors I have made in my life, I know that once offered at your feet in Chidambaram, they vanish. I have followed the words of the elders and the path they have laid and I am devoted you in every way. Why is it that you do not bestow your kindness upon me?

I cant help thinking about this and i keep coming back to the video. When she reaches her breaking point , she vents and lets out her frustration, probably all to herself. The object of her worship is indifferent to her complaints as he was to her prayers . My question is if she is having the outburst all to herself and going inevitably back to loving him quietly . If not and pray tell, what is the reason for the indiffernce. Is it by choice or is he indeed blind? If it is by choice , it is indeed cruelty. But regardless of her prayers being answered, she goes back to her worship for she cannot not do that.
And always love the minimalism in the costumes and accessories. Also this beautiful music. For someone as uninitiated into the classical arts as me, this is a pathway to know about thuis music and the soulfull singing . Please create more . Especially hoping that you would portray more of the joys and tribulations of Parvathi in various points of her story .
And the camera and the perfect surroundings! This production has affected me profoundly

Ma'am I respect the south Indian languages and their importance in Bharatnatyam, but CAN they be converted into Sanskrit, Hindi and English ,the message can reach the larger masses with an ease then. Is the conversion possible in Bharatnatyam Music keeping in mind the South Indian languages too from which it has evolved ?

But is it possible to create Some energetic Bharatnatyam dance performance like hat of namami yog- Vidye. There we get inspiration for not only yoga but also also meditation. Msg(Ego, fear, anger and hayed are mahishasurs in one person itself) in that performance it is so nice inspire many people think beyond oneself identity, to go and unlock true self (Brahma satya).
