This song was intense and some of the heaviest we have heard from them. Will be in OKC this Sun to see these guys for the second time. Its gonna be sic.
Supposedly theyre being pretty cryptic about their next steps as a band. One of the things they said about this track is it has a guest vocalist thats not a human or something along those lines. Anyone got any good guesses? Im thinking they used some kind of highly produced noises from dolphins or some other strange creature. Of course their sound is so unique so ya cant rule out the idea that they might ACTUALLY have some kind of extraterrestrial feature.

This is incredible! I'm getting hints of Veil of Maya and Humanity's Last Breath but also hints of various past eras of Silent Planet. They're integrating so much into their sound! With every new release, they remind me why they're one of my favourite bands 😤👏🙌

I was honestly expecting something like Terminal (not my thing. I like the heavy, fast-paced stuff), but was pleased to find out I was DEAD wrong
LET'S BOOM!!!
Honestly this really proves what I've said about their last album. Their sound is transforming to sound so much better when exploring the shoegaze, ambient, beautiful, emotional, melodic sound. I sense Loathe and Contortionist influence. Those parts are seriously just so much better written and impressive and catchy and emotional than the metalcore stuff that they've grown out of at this point. Their song Terminal is another perfect example and uses both vocal styles beautifully to huge emotional effect.
@The Horizon Terminal is the slowest song imo from their last album, but a truly masterpiece.

Musically and within the metal span.
Yeah there are influences here and there but theyre always elements sprinkled here and there, never like full on copies which is amazing. This is how bands in similar genres should influence each other

@@sirdo946 Yeah for sure, Silent Planet puts their own spin on it, but I wish they'd realize how their sound is evolving and explore the side of their music where their strengths lie. And I think their latest album has really shown promise in that if they manage to hone in on their new sound.
