Idk, but my guess it's the fry scream mixed with singing (like pitched scream or whatever), but he actually sings some high note matched with the music while screaming. Architects do that a lot
@@samirgolchha it's a fry distortion mixed with a mix voice belt. Pretty easy to combine the two IF you can actually do both in separately in the first place. Marcus Vik uses the same technique for the majority of his high notes, it's a good way to get super high notes without sounding like a chicken being strangled if you're a baritone or lower. :)
I would absolute LOVE to hear this done live with Jeremy DePoyster on guest vocals with the SP clean vocalist (Thomas Freckleton I think?). I feel they could hit some bone chilling harmonies with it.

What's the sound at 1:29? Sounds like someone whistling and every time I listen to this song I get freaked out by thinking someone came into my room or some sh... Kinda annoying.
I cannot get enough of how he sings "satellites" in the chorus. Whatever type of scream it turns into for the L in the middle is simply incredible.

@Samir Golchha I couldn't figure it out either! It sounds fantastic, but I didn't think he (Garrett) did any melodic singing/clean vocals

sound like a product of dissonance to me, so it would just be the product of multiple frequencies
I’m offended by the ending. Have to shower after that. Pure filth
My future children's children will probably still be disgusted by those lows. Absolutely fucking amazing!
