    I really appreciate the comparison that some people may hold a micro screwdriver in a different manner. I also really like the lighting you use in your photo box. Another excellent video.

    FYI, the Wera probably bottomed out under pressure to reduce wear. You don't need the cap to spin when you're putting that much down pressure on a fastener.
    tl;dr - it's a feature.

    We have both the Facom and the Wiha at work and I have to say the Facom feels soooo much nicer in the hand and feels much smoother when you actually turn a screw with it. We've also had a few broken tips with the Wihas.
    I'm kinda sad that many german brands like Hazet, Gedore, Stahlwille and Witte sell a lot of rebranded stuff in their professional product-ranges. You can often tell if "made in germany" doesn't appear anywhere in the product description but even if it does you can't be sure like with the Felo Ergonic Ratchet for example.
    If it were just the budget brands like Gedore Red or Vigor (budget Hazet) I would understand, but not when the products are sold under a highly regarded brand name (and with a hefty pricetag), giving you the impression they were manufactured in house. That being said I love my Hazet ratcheting screwdriver (810R-3) and the Hazet 810 BH made my Oplast. :D

    As always, another insightful video!
    Question; I've decided to build a HIOS bit set for the added length to go with an ES15 (it can run both 4mm HIOS and 4mm hex) electric screwdriver to be part of my mobile tech kit and am looking for two things:
    1. A great bit holder for HIOS (leaning towards a Wera 1013 ESD, but wondering if there is anything more interesting out there).
    2. A good way to store lots of HIOS bits of various lengths (40mm to 100mm) in a compact and easily accessible form factor. (I bought a whole variety of generic bits to see what sizes I like before I upgrade my most commonly used bits at a later date).

    • @bzeug
      @bzeug  Год назад

      I didn't know the ES15 was made for HIOS as well as 4mm bits. Have you used HIOS in the ES15 yet?

      @@bzeug I have a super cheap kit that has bits that fit, and the brochure says and shows both as options. I specifically want longer bits than the normal 4mm hex ones and the HIOS seemed like a good option. It is nice to have the option for both working though!

    Then we have the likes of Nanch or some Wiha made aluminium ones ordered by Xiaomi that have an actual bearing on the top cap. Of course that would make a set like these come in, a lot more expensive and it's a bit overkill.

    • @bzeug
      @bzeug  Год назад +1

      Ha! IRAZOLA, look at that. Many BACHO items just rebranded. I had never come across the brand, IRAZOLA. Is there a specific market (country/language) they sell that brand to?

    • @ks-hg5vo
      @ks-hg5vo Год назад +1

      @@bzeug irazola was quite prominent in the UK for a period of time.have quite a few roebucks that then became irazolas and now seems bahcos. Just checked the cases they came in and said made in Spain. Even Their 1mm slotted seems to hold up. So can't be too bad a steel. They sold in clear fronted box sets of 6. In everything from tx to 0.9 hex. Their 200mm long ph1 has got me out a few tricky items .
      Additional...Irazola is now owned by Snap-on. I believe Irazola is technically owned by Bahco and Snap-on’s European division, but ultimately Irazola falls under the Snap-on corporate umbrella.
      Because of this, Irazola’s Tekno+ screwdrivers are now Bahco-branded and are finally available in the USA.

      JIS and DIN are so alike that they're interchangeable. So interchangeable that the JIS standard was abandoned years ago and not a single Japanese manufacturer is currently JIS-certified in screwdrivers, and they mostly have gone to ISO. ISO/DIN with its 1-2 degree difference here and there works just fine on JIS.
      Vessel calls their shape JISDrive but they lack the JIS certification and official logo. Sunflag still follows the JIS standard as it was before abandonment but no longer has a JIS certification logo. Anex no longer has a cert either.

    You believe or not, that chinisium set are 100% aluminum and came with a ball bearing instead of a bushing, like those expensive screwdriver you review.
