- JC V1 Programmer has multiple functionalities. For iPhone 7-XS MAX, it can restore True Tone, Ambient Light Sensor, Touch, and Vibration. It also helps read/write data for logic chip and baseband chip via jump wire for iPhone 6- XS MAX. Now JC V1 programmer not only supports OEM screens but also compatible with HO3 screens and OEM with H-IC screens with assistance by the HO3 R&D team.

When we replace the screen for iPhone 8 and above models, the true tone will be disabled with iOS 12 and above. It's hard to repair the true tone when we don't have the original screen. Today we will introduce how to restore the true tone for iPhone without the original screen via JC V1 Programmer. Please note that the front camera should be original. Besides, the JC Assistant Software is only compatible with Windows so far. It works! You need to buy a screen with the eeprom chip! Ask the seller before you buy. It’s gonna kill the display and front camera at first but all you need to do is reset the phone and the display will come back on, then reset again and front camera will start working again.

I follow your steps, software read data from the iphone and programmed back all data on OEM Screen but no TrueTone. Only i don´t know if is the original frontcamera. Must it be the first original camera from factory or is another original camera enough?

Hi, can you help me? I tried to fix true tone on iPhone xr without reading data from previous lcd as it is showen in video. I conected iphone and then jc v1 with lcd, i done everything as it was shown in your video but it is not working. No true tone and dissabled autobrightness. Any solution or advice? iOS 13.3

hello, JC V1 can restore truetone as long as you screen have turetone function, Please note that the front camera should be original

Hi, to solve your concern, you need to provide more details about the device you used together with the JC PRO1000 to the seller you bought the device from, for example, which model you tried to read? And what tester you used. :)

After true tone restoation does it stay permanently or can be removed by update, restore and reset?
It stays permanently till you replace another new screen. Then you need to restore it again.

Hi, did you complete the true tone restoration? Normally, when we encounter the same situation, it is because of the lightning to USB cable is not certified.

Hi, i recently bought a used iPhone X and i noticed the lack of true tone option only after few days, so i supposed that it is not the original display, even if it seems an oled one and it performs really well, in terms of colours and response. Is there a way to determine what kind of display is (refurbished, aftermarket, etc)? How can i be sure that the front camera is the originale one? Can i restore the true tone functionality, not having access to the original display? Where i can download JC Assistant Software from? Thanks!
Hi, Alessandro, the truth is no matter what quality screen you have replaced, the true tone function will always be disabled and needs to be restored through certain tools as you see in this video, good luck man

The front camera should be original. Otherwise, it can't read the data correctly.

Hi, the JC Pro 1000 won't support the V1 unfortunately, the V1 needs to connect to internet to work.

I bought the jc v1 but i cant register an account in the software? If I press captcha nothing happens and i dont get an email. Anybody knows how to fix that? Im using windows 10
we also dont meet same problem, can you try to use another computer or email regist it?

Maybe change the lcd with the camera replacement as well and program the bew screen

Please check the lightning cable. Sometimes it happens if the cable can't be identified.

I have a sincere hatred for Apple. My JC-V1 can't reenable the Xs True Tone, it say device no supported even though it's supposed to be. If I install new earspeaker assembly, the device bootloop. I installed a new battery and it give me notification of not original battery and wont give me the battery health status. You are not owning the device when you buy it.
WARNING!!!!! There's absolutely no customer support for this company. When registering, it asks for a "verification code," which never gets sent. If you have any issues, you're legitimately on your own. Buyer: BEWARE!!!!!
