Does true tone need to be used with refurbished Apple screens, or does this only apply to aftermarket ones? I would imagine only aftermarket ones, correct?

So, I've spent about the past 5 hours trying to get this to work. Whenever I hit "detect," I get an "IIC chip not recognized!" error in the output window. I can't reach anyone from the company because you use WeChat and it's restricted for a vast majority of Americans because you have to know someone with the app to have them to grant you access. I won't say I'm regretting my purchase, but right now, it's definitely DOA and I'm getting nowhere with it. Hey, thanks for your video. I just replaced the battery on my iPhone 8. However the True Tone function disappeared, even if I did NOTHING to the display. Can I reprogram the serial number of the battery somehow? (I'm on iOS 13.4)

There are 2 situations of the problem:
1. The problem is caused by the display, which can be solved by programmer
2. The problem is caused by the damaging of light sensor during the battery replacement, which cannot be solved by programmer.
@@rewatechnology2008 A big thanks for your reply. The True Tone function came back after I reconnected the cable. Quite strange though considering the front camera works just fine and they actually share the same ribbon cable.

Can we able to write true tone to another aftermarket Screen using the previous used aftermarket Screen ??
The data could be written on another aftermarket screen, but the screen should be installed with the original motherboard.

Hi. I am unable to get the WLRepair software to recognize the iPhone. Win 10 machine. iPhone X with iOS 14.2. Phone is clearly connected to the PC, as I can access it. WLRepair doesn't see it, however. Tried re-installing, restarting, everything I could think to do. Any suggestions? Thanks.

As I said, that is not possible. Apple somehow encrypted that process and nobody found out how yet.

Hi I have purchased you WL13 pro lcm eeprom programmer but it is not working. I have tried emailing you but have recieved no reply already a long time. I have tried using the w12 pro and the WL software but it keeps saying windows does not recognise the USB device and I cant connect to the WL software with USB cable. It is not working.
