Chelsea played most of their main guys as they are learning a new system and City plays their B and Academy guys as they already know who they are . Pep finished 3rd and 15 pts behind Chelsea on his first season as he tries to get the team together and that’s Pep (1 of if not the best ever ) .. chill out
Watched it in person, don’t concede consecutively and everything’s different but that’s the beauty of it.
Don must relax. It's a training game. It's tactical discipline and understanding one another. If the pitch is not good, still they must try give the ball to the midfielder and they get used to playing under that pressure. I know know why are these guys so sensational and going bananas. I watched the entire game... A lot of individual mistakes trying to pass out from the back, and poor tactics in allowing City to hit the diagonal ball to City's left wing.

Because he's a conservative midfielder with his passing (which is why the pass accuracy stat can be misleading) and a runner but he doesn't control the game in midfield. With Enzo and Caicedo there he's a surplus to requirements. Not a bad player at all, but for Chelsea to get back to the top, they need a more refined player than Gallagher to complete the team.

Many might think this is a minor thing, but seeing as Chelsea has brought in all these different players last summer and this offseason, I really think they would benefit from having players who has been through the academy and who has the “Chelsea DNA”. If you get rid of all those, you end up with just a bunch of guys who don’t necessarily bleed for the club.
It’s the managers including my club’s manager. They treat the players like puppets, want to pull all the strings controlling even throw-ins.
Buy players. Spread the costs over the lengh of the Contract. Sell players. The transfer fee is in the Account this year.
