I get the feeling that that guy was somone who plays magic, but doesn't actually like it. The first emote to the turn one thoughtsieze is childish, but understandable. Everything after that though is literally just him complaining that his opponent is playing cards.
I agree emotes are very rude, and I love Legend, but he's not the fastest player out there, there's other players in which I don't have to spam the +5sec forward button while watching their content
Just after I watched the first match and thought: I wonder how many other people noticed this emoji-spamming noob who was obviously going to rage quit because they couldn't win? Sigh.
18:18 Opponent was confused with the deathtouch spell because some creatures like [Pestilent Spirit] has abilities with "Your instant and sorcery spells have deathtouch" but only when it is on the battlefield; in this case, opponent would save his creatures when the [Pestilent Spirit] has left the battlefield since all instant and sorcery spells will no longer have deathtouch. Whereas [Judith, Carnage Connoisseur] has an triggered ability upon casting a instant or scorcery to give that spell on the stack deathtouch (should you choose that mode). That spell on the stack will now have the deathtouch ability regardless of [Judith, Carnage Connoisseur] being on the battlefield. MTG is hard sometimes.
Idk how Luca of ALL people keeps getting paired up with these rude asshat players! Really proud of Luca for always being above their hazing and being so calm minded and focused. Really learned a lot of mannerisms from him and it's made me a better player, and person as well! Appreciate you tons man!!!
Ye. Watching his plays is really humbling! I get to look back on my old plays, went "wow, did I always been that loud?". Now I look at the board more carefully and start to accept that, perhaps, the opp has the correct card/answer and I'm not. It's quite game-changing, both literally and figuratively.
Voja player at 23:40 punted lethal by casting Elesh Norn. They had more than enough damage on board to kill with an all out attack thanks to the Voja attack trigger instead of tapping all of their attackers minus Voja for mana
Sweet looking deck! I think Birgi would be a relevant include if you leaned a little heavier into the storm strategy. I was surprised to not see Phyrexian Tower in the mana base, turning those devils into extra mana
Super enjoyable gameplay! How much would you need to tweak this list to be effective as a 1v3 commander deck, not just a 1v1 brawl deck? I assume you'd cut back on the planeswalkers that are less likely to stick around with 3 opponents, but what else? I've been wanting to build Judith since she got revealed but not sure which way to go. Would this list be a good starting point?
Obviously more 2cmc mana rocks, more removal/interaction, more of the untapped dual lands, some tutors, reanimate, victimize etc for recursion, and a proper board wipe like damnation etc.
Hey LVD, long time watcher first time commentor. I've watched a lot of your videos and a quick tip if you're open to advice is when using Thoughtseize, you should do it after the opponents draw step so you can see what card they drew as well. Love the content, keep it up!
At 16:20, wouldn't it be better to cast Judith, cast crash through to make an imp, then cast village rites, saccing the imp, dealing 2 to Ivy, and making another imp?
It's an option, although the matchups where we want that sweeper effect are usually creature decks, which are less likely to answer Judith to begin with.
The format is in desperate need of some bans. Paradox Engine and Emergent Ultimatum chief among them. Some of the less powerful commanders can win if it's leading an aggro deck, but midrange commanders that aren't automatic game winners or card draw engines get wrecked by all the ramp decks that dominate the meta
@@soybomb777I play paradox engine and 100% agree it needs to go. A lot of the azorious/dimir/esper commanders need to go as well. Control is not allowed in brawl lol.
Ironic watching the 5C good stuff deck giving you the sleepy emote like they're the paragon of creativity
Yeah, the toxicity of some mtga players does not provide a lot of value
I get the feeling that that guy was somone who plays magic, but doesn't actually like it.

Yeah it was wild to troll sleepy emotes on Thoughtseize, only to then later cast Thought Distortion themselves. Ok, buddy.

First opponent made it clear for a large audience they are a little child who cant deal with any adversity. Great deck Luca!
About 1 in 5 of opponents in Arena is always like that 😅
@@geronimo8159And its always the ones playing the most broken braindead stuff
@@electric_dream_machine Right. How dare a First Sliver player shoot out a boring emote lol

Always great to see a sticker spammer thoroughly beaten :D
Imagine spamming sleepy emote while playing 5C good stuff with First Sliver and Thought Distortion. Great W for not even BOTHER to comment on that!
Luca usually doesn't, he's pure class. I think awhile ago he let a "good game indeed" go to a player that GG'd him prematurely.
He said while commenting on and giving attention to bad behavior
@jk6971 What video was that? I need to see this
I like when blue mages sleepy emote after roping with their counters up all game
Most mature 5C good stuffs player.
Not the sleepy spam thought distortion 😭
First opponent bathed in their own salt there, sheesh....
"That was pretty effective." -- classic LVD understatement 😆
Luka after ruin someone's board: "that was pretty effective" 😂

No kidding!
You were so patient with the first guy spamming emotes. Thanks for the video!
Starquake, you have been immortalized in the internet.
I was the player with Syr Konrad. Lily was too much to handle. Really nice playing against you though! :)
Hey, thanks!
I love the colored layout for the deck tech, very nice editing!
That first player was a pain in the ass, damn...
i love her with arcane bombardment cause she can proc off all the extra cast!!

The way Judith disrespected Voja's ENTIRE board is just (chef's kiss)
Nice to see you rock the salty opponents who play cheesy decks. Always fun to watch. Thanks
That’s fantastic! I’m planning to build a physical commander of that Judith
You just know the first person was so angry. Perfect schadenfreude to start the day!
Great gameplay! I made a similar deck but having the CREATURES being the pingers with Zagras Thief of Heartbeats as the commander.
Lol at the first sliver player spamming sleep emote
control in brawl can be sick to watch sometimes, this is one of those times
The shuffler really wanted you to have Professor Onyx in those first couple games.
Some attention must also be paid to the Mythweaver Poq opponent who played an absurdly broken commander very poorly and then disconnected
24:14 what a dopamine hit
Very nice Brawl deck :)

I'm surprised 1st opp managed to stay awake for as long as they did!
“Struggle takes out artist”
What a classic line, true in real life too 😂
Im glad to know that Im not the only one with those weird graphics issues on tapped creatures.
What kind of hand kept the last opponent? Doing nothing for 4 turns, it's the only way one can lose with the ULTRA BROKEN Mythweaver Poq!

How are we casting it at instant speed though?
@LegenVD As always, your wisdom is ever-reaching. I forgot that I am usually casting it with a card that enables me to cantrip it. 😂🤣😂
command the dreadhorde after those 1 mana board wipes would be cool
Yeah definitely considered it, but found the other 6-drops to be a little more consistent.
Would harmonic prodigy give double triggers for Judith?
Yes, that's why it's in the deck
What do you think of Ojer Axonil, Deepest Might as one of the payoffs?
ur da best
if looks could kill🗣️💯
Whats up with opponents conceding all the time ? Dont they want to see if they can pull through
Usually its out of saltiness or they understand they cant come back. Rather than waste their time, they just move on to the next match.
Oh wow. I don't think I've ever seen you double mulligan.

Pestilent spirit for redundancy ?
