  • Six Flags Fiesta Texas saw an unprecedented $30 million expansion for the 1999 season. This included multiple roller coasters, such as Poltergeist, several flat rides and children's rides and the iconic Lone Star Lagoon Texas-shaped wave pool. Join us for another episode in the Fiesta Texas Flashback Series, which takes a look at the largest expansion in Six Flags Fiesta Texas history.

This was so well done! I love Fiesta Texas, and it was so great to look back, see the old footage, and learn some things about the history. Poltergeist is still among my favorites at the park, only behind Iron Rattler.

Great video. I had a season pass the first year the park opened and it sure has come a long way. What I would like to see is a new wood coaster that also uses the quarry wall and it would be the. Tallest wood coaster in Texas.

Flashback was at Over Texas, not Fiesta Texas.
