    Everyone keeps saying he's human. We're all human. But most of us have never walked up to another man and slapped him in his face either. If so, we would have been arrested instead of given an award, a standing ovation, and allowed to party at an after party.

      lol it wasn't cause of that, chris made a joke about his wife not his mother or her mother, will smith has trauma from jada cheating on him with so many guys, it's quite sad really, i think him slapping chris was a sad attempt at trying to gain acceptance from his wife, sorry smith she's still going to cheat! crazy that a man is trying to prove their worth to such a woman who cheats on them with their SON's best friend.

    You can tell he wasn’t really sorry about it. There’s no doubt he’s feeling the regret though. Once your actions and words have been done, you cannot take them back. Simple as that. He could’ve been remembered as the movie star we all know of for his particular roles. Unfortunately, he is now remembered for this forever….

    This "apology tour" has more to do with money than anything else, and the excuses he's using are complete BS. If you go back and re-watch the video you'll see he laughs at the joke Chris Rock made, and then turns and sees his wife's reaction, she says something, and all of a sudden he gets up and heads for the stage. He wasn't "going thru" anything, he was pushed by his lovely wife...

    I saw my father hit my mother (and us kids) and that made me know that I would NEVER use violence against another person because my feelings got hurt. Excuses. He is just an entitled egomaniac, controlled by his nasty wife.

  • @jdlarkin87
    @jdlarkin87 11 месяцев назад

    Justifying his actions with excuses is one thing. But the fact that he was smiling the whole time speaks louder than his words. He's not sorry he did it. He's just upset with the fallout it caused. Everybody loved him for the longest time and held him on such a high pedestal (including me), but after that night and the way he's addressed it since, he's made it crystal clear that his ego is his top priority. "I was afraid of how my actions would impact the success of my movie." His actions had more of an impact on his career/reputation than any movie ever will. He can still come back from all of this and be forgiven, but first he needs to grow up.

    Since Chris Rock is a comedian I would expect him to joke around from time to time.
    Can’t Will Smith take a joke?
    What made him lose his temper at that moment?
    He didn’t seem himself when he yelled.
    I still don’t get it 🤷🏼

      HP,..Thank you, reading your message is a breath of fresh air. I get so tired of people harping on other peoples inadequacies when they’ve got a mountain of them, themselves! It’s really disturbing to think that a person can’t live their life without their nose constantly being rubbed in past mistakes.
      But the thing that is really sad is most people have plenty of past mistakes themselves,. but they’d rather look at the Splinter in someone else’s Eye, when they have a rafter in their own!

    I mean, it’s never ok to make a joke about something that someone is struggling with. But what Will should’ve done instead of smacking Chris is like raised his hand, maybe walked up and take the mic and say that it wasn’t ok and say something like “I want to make that clear for anybody to know that you should never make a joke about a person if the person won’t laugh about it but instead feel hurt or angry about it. It’s disrespectful and I know you can do better than that man…” He would have earned so much respect if he did that instead, even get applauds and be honored by it. Like raise above 😕 I feel bad because Wills intentions were good but it came out wrong 😕
