      @@OriginalPuro You are viewing this life through your limited paradigm. Lets say you knew nothing about airplanes, and I told you I could fly as high as the clouds and faster than a hawk. You would be very skeptical because ALL YOU KNOW is cars, buses, and trains. Then I take you out to the airport and we both climb in an open cockpit bi-plane and take off down the runway... faster...faster.. You're not impressed. You've ridden in cars and buses and trains, this is nothing. But then you see the end of the runway and you begin to panic. Maybe we should apply the brakes now. But instead I pull back on the stick and we lift off high into the clouds. NOW YOU UNDERSTAND. Like the plane analogy...There are things far above your present mind and understanding that you can not fathom. Seek and ye shall find.

      @@yesbwana Occams Razor is a thing. Id tend to agree with you about this when it comes to certain channels and content. This though, highest likelyhood is its exactly whaw it aims to be. The people who created the channel are city folks from nearby the villages these village folks come from. Nearby over there means 2+ hours away. Ive been following the two channels that these people have since inception and from gathering whaw these people say and how they behave, this isnt exploitation at all. They actually pay them for each time they come out, its quite a hike for them. also theres all sorts of proceeds that go to their villages, as well as support that comes from viewers. Sometimes whaw you see is whaw you get. When humans go looking for whaws in the shadows, we tend to start seeing shadows everywhere just so we can find out whaws in them. Thats how the human mind works. Its feeding into duality, just another layer to the illusion we create for ourselves.

      It's fine. If you can only conceive of exploitation being monetary and that's what you chose to address to a comment starting, "Regardless of payment..." @@yesbwana I see. So youre incapable of discourse without putting down those you perceive as having a lesser intellect and understanding than you due to not sharing your worldview, or at the very least approaching you from the position that you are of superior knowledge and wisdom and they would do best to learn from you? Gotcha. So youre basically a stunted human being that is driven by your ego and require it to be stroked, with a rigidness of belief in not only your worldview, but your intellectual superiority. You obviously at some point went along the journey but decided to stop and build your house out of brick not too far from the starting point.
      To paraphrase Sun Tzu "It is no great feat to lift a feather, nor is it a thing of extraordinary ability to look outside and forecast the weather." If those around you were lacking in the ability to reach conclusions that you had reached, due to w.e. reasoning, then that simply means that those around you and those you choose interact with are not on your level. This does not mean the level you are on is above all you encounter, simply you are on a differing level than those you surround yourself with. Its easy to feed ones ego in such situations. I have been there, I understand. The ego can be overwhelmingly oriented towards the comfort zone.
      The only objective truth of subjectivity is that the more that is learned, the less that is known. I hope one day you pack up your house, or at least your belongings from within that house, and continue with your growth. As of right now however, your dunning-kruger isnt doing you any favors in that area. Love and Peace fellow human.

I remember watching this jump as it happened and, since I live in the US and I am passionate about science and learning all I can, I was impressed with the jump, but I knew he’d be fine. • @xsprlmnl
      @xsprlmnl 3 года назад +6

      You're right, this was the stratosphere as he was 60km under the karman line which is considered the arbitrary limit between atmosphere and space. However being or not in orbit as nothing to do with your altitude, you need orbital velocity to achieve an orbit and he has almost none so he could be way above the karman line and still fall back to earth. In the same way you could be in orbit like 10 meters above the ground assuming the way is clear and you can go fast enough and maintain that speed despite the atmosphere slowing you down.

    • @JonLa89
      @JonLa89 3 года назад +1

      The edge of space outside the atmosphere is The Karmin Line which is at 30km above the atmosphere. He probably got within a hair's breath of the Exosphere or Inonisphere before the Karmin space or he might have reported weightlessness. Also to achieve orbit he would need propulsion going at 1,600+mph or 17,000km somewhere in the ballpark of speed to make an orbital ring and travel the earth a few times.

    • @JonLa89
      @JonLa89 3 года назад +1

      @@xsprlmnl thanks for explaining as I was going by remembered knowledge and not wanting to Google. I wanted to explain that felix wouldn't get any kind of orbit due to the earth being a large celestial body and its gravitational pull influences smaller objects even those in orbit into orbital decay the closer they get to the atmosphere, even the Earth Sphere of Influence is powerful to disturb the outer objects in Sun Orbit if they make contact.

    • @xsprlmnl
      @xsprlmnl 3 года назад +1

      @@JonLa89 Well yes. The sphere of influence is the region of space where Earth is the primary gravitational influence but theoretically the gravitational pull of Earth has an infinite reach. You can still orbit it outside of it but you'll eventually meet the sphere of another planet

    • @FrankyPi
      @FrankyPi 3 года назад +2

      @@JonLa89 Karman line is at 100 km, while NASA and USAF define the boundary at 80 km. He was never close to a weightless environment in the capsule, to be weightless in space you have to be falling or in orbit. Gravity at 100 km is basically almost identical to sea level. Even at 400 km where ISS orbits, gravity is a bit below 90% of its sea level value, they are weightless only because they are constantly orbiting, falling around Earth. The force that makes the orbits possible is gravity itself, without it there would be no centripetal force that is a fundamental part of orbital motion.
