In the 1980's I was a TOW gunner in the marines. We still used the stripped-down M151 jeep without any canopy or windshield. To prevent getting our heads cut off by wire stretched across the ranges from TOW and Dragon missiles we would secure a camy net tent pole (basically a 5' aluminum pipe) vertically to the front bumper of our jeeps. This would break the wire if you happened to run into it just a split second before it sliced you in two. Watching the scene at 1:25 with the rider hitting the wire fence made me think something like this may be a good idea for you guys. It would create a slight obstruction to firing the rifles however and may not be practical for your purposes but it definitely would protect against terrible gashes to the face from wire fences. Great video Stu.
Nice shooting Steve 🐷 Love watching you and Stu getting amongst it!! Just wish the property I hunt on had as many piggies, although I reckon the owner would strongly disagree with me!!
Ha yes mate Steve used to wait until the pigs stopped running for a shot meaning that he would hardly get a shot off as pigs don't often stop when they start running.
