Why are you not trading goods with yellow exclamation mark? It has much better price and also it shows that that city needs this goods at the moment(probably if they need it, it may also have influence on their manpower and defence). You may sort goods with this mark in the tab of selling in the left upper corner. Also when you buying something with that mark you pay double(sometimes even triple) price.
How do you get to make the dwelling I don't see that as an option which research do I need for that and how did he select the entire ore vein at once????
you need to research "Dwarven Trade Relations" first tier technology (its not obvious), and to multi select ore you select "mine" on the bottom icon (shortcut x) and just drag select over the ore you want mined! thanks for watching!
