Are you loving the elegant decor on the hit series “Bridgerton”? Would you like to add some touches of the Regency style to your home without spending a fortune? In today’s video, we’ll be upcycling 10 inexpensive thrift store finds into Bridgerton inspired decor including a leather bound book, ink well, marble bookend, chinoiserie candlestick and frame, silhouette art, mantel clock, pedestal vase, tea caddy, and a large symmetrical flower arrangement.

I love the tea caddy but without the flowers! Just black and gold looks more elegant!😏
I like it both ways...maybe an in between look without the outline. But those handles though!😍

The accident clock is perfect. I love clocks too. Every thing is beautiful. I wonder where the blue and white napkin comes from. I can never find anything interesting in napkins. They make beautiful decoupage. ❤❤❤❤
All of them are fantastic. Wildly creative but fave was #4 & I think that was yours. I really need to think how to merge pieces together like you do. That candlestick was beyond brilliant. ❤❤❤❤❤

The clock is my favorite, but I like another viewer’s suggestion of making the columns look like marble either with paint or contac paper- I think your favorite is the flower arrangement. You truly are gifted and so inspiring!

Sherry, when my daughter was in HS her friends used to have period parties. I remember when they did the Regency period and we shopped at thrift stores to find an appropriate dress. Happy memories. Thanks for sharing your talent. The flowers were my favorite this week.😊
*Sherry, I think you kept the clock because you love clocks so much, LOL❣️🤣🤎 I like the "happy accident" of the bleed through, but to tone down the orange a little bit, you could rub on a very light coat of antiquing wax. Or, you could make the columns look like marble by wrapping some Dollar Tree faux marble contact paper around the columns. 😉*
*My personal favorite was the Chinoiserie candlestick,🕯since I love 💙🤍💙🤍 blue and white AND BIRDS 🐦🤍💙❣️🤪 However, EVERYTHING YOU MADE TODAY was FABULOUS‼️ The pagoda picture frame in blue and white was INSPIRING, as was the marble bookend with the brass pineapple❣️🍍 The floral arrangement was stunning 😍 and the Tea 🫖 Caddy was the PERFECT SHAPE with the lid and handles and the additional gold and rose embellishments over flat black. 🍃🌹🌺🌹🍃 I am a tea drinker 🫖 NOT a coffee drinker, and I would be proud to use a tea caddy like that in my home❣️😉🥰👍🏼 I really liked the marriage of disparate items to make the quill🪶pen holder; it's very pretty. I have never watched Bridgerton. Based on what you shared with us, I think I would like it because I like the Regency Style, Victorian ephemera and designs, silhouettes, ornate gold frames, glass paperweights and old inkwell desk sets and blotters with fancy brass letter openers, etc. - all of that frou frou stuff, LOL‼️*

One of the reasons why I love your channel and content is that you don’t just paint over the majority of your projects and call it a DIY. You actually transform things. I’m not familiar with the show that you’re using as inspiration but you certainly paid a lot of attention to the details from it! While the clock wasn’t complicated, the changes were dramatic and turned out to be a happy accident, making it my personal favorite and maybe be yours too?

Once I saw the thumbnail, I couldn't click fast enough! THIS is how I have my living room decorated, all due to a beautiful picture I inherited from my Grandmother. Soooo many good ideas in the video! And yes, I knew the clock would be your favorite. Second guess would have been the bird candlestick which I think is my favorite.

I don't think i would have painted the clock or taken apart the brass pineapple lamp but, you always make everything look beautiful so definitely not disappointed.

Def leave the clock handles as they are! Adds so much charm to it. Didn’t really care for the off white.
I would repaint the discolored side bars of the clock. The cream colored bars gave a refreshing relief from the gold and dark colored background of the clock face.
If you’re looking for old world, I’d leave that clock, it’s perfect.

What a treat your video is today, Sherry. I love that you picked a design era and went for it coming up with great projects. I think the clock did its own magic and looks fabulous. I can't believe you found that style clock in the first place. My mother had antiques with touches of beautiful oriental ceramics mixed in. She collected beautiful tea cups and we always had lots of tea. You did yourself proud as always. ❤❤😊😊

They were all so pretty. But my favorite is the vase you made with the flower arrangement.
Even when things don't turn out the way you'd expect them to, you always seem to luck out and they look good anyway. Your clock looks fine with the bleed through. If I were going to choose, I would keep the floral arrangement at the end. It turned out especially nice.
Thank you! The clock bleed through was reminding me of a tiny faux scale that I made a couple years ago. I used a super glue accelerator that discolored the plastic clock/scale face. Have you seen that one? It made the plastic look old!🥰
#3 the vase is my favorite. The clock looks good with the rusty look but I don’t think the Regency era would approve. Crisp and clean would be the order of the day.
I think you kept #4, the bird candle stand. I think all the projects were very creative and true to the era.

Thank you, Sally! I have seen stain bleed through before, but it never looked like this. It was a happy accident, and I decided to keep the clock for myself.
What a fab video! Too many choices here. 10/10 on the floral arrangement, it looks stunning and is definitely the one I would keep, but the blue and white candlestick and leather book are also favourites. I think the paint reaction on the clock is interesting and would definitely keep it, but maybe tone it's orange-ness down a bit with some darker wax to make it more cohesive?
I absolutely loved this themed set of projects. You could do a whole series, exploring styles of different eras for upcycling projects - as a June's Journey player, I'd love some Art Deco pieces or Art Nouveau - another sneaky way to see some more fabulous William Morris patterns 🙂

What a fun group of projects! You should have lived in the Regency Era because you would have been able to decorate perfectly. I can’t pick a favorite but I think the pen stand was simple but elegant.

I really like the unplanned result of the mantel clock. There was too much contrast previously, but the "new look" is amazing!!! What luck!!!! My favorite from today, WITHOUT A DOUBT, is the footed vase with the flowers!!! That's the one I would want to keep!!! As a side note, I am a Regency Era living historian! I teach educational programs to the public at historic places (museums, homes, other buildings). You've done your research!!!! Excellent job!!!!!

I would leave the discoloration on the clock, makes it look authentically old. But the 12 and 6 on the clock face being crooked would drive me crazy!
