I'm so unbelievably proud of this community. The fact that there is mostly love for that poor woman who was just trying to do her job shows that skate culture has matured A LOT since I was a kid.
They helped each other out! 😂 she got to vent the day’s frustration at some very chill dudes and she provided the right amount of pressure needed to stomp that triple rail! 🎉🎉🎉
Love hearing the backstory of these insane bangers. When I watch a part from Rob I cant help but wonder where all these crazy rails are. Its sick how these massive rails are out there waiting to be found. Half of watching a skate video to me is admiring all the gnarly spots; as a skate videographer I only dream of being able to film someone at an insane rail like this but in my city spots like this dont even exist. The fact that theyre out there and you just gotta find em makes it interesting to me

As a lifeguard who's been understaffed during a 10-hour day during peak season plenty of times... I 100% feel that woman's stress. She's probably had to enforce stupid rules that she doesn't agree with all day long, to people who give her attitude, blow her off, insult her, etc.
The moment she screams she needed somebody to listen to her today, I felt like she could have made the best friends she's ever had right there but was too frustrated to see it. 😢
So lucky he got it on that overcast day and not in that sunshine. The exposure on the sunny day was impossible and that grey day was as good as it could be for that spot. Amazing skating as well. Rob Pace is a real genius.
I wish he would have went and found the security lady so he could give her a hug, say he was sorry for making her so upset, and then tell her that he landed it. And then just run away.

Definitely survival of the fittest.. craziest 50 I’ve ever seen.. we thought double rail 50 was crazy.. there’s been a lot of crazy 50s done.. this could be craziest, at least second craziest to Kyle walkers multiple insane 50s..this is pretty nuts though.. that’s truly astonishing.. pushing the boundaries of what is possible..

There are maybe a handful of skaters, able to do anything on that thing. Also, when has an adult skater ever sued anbody over hurting themselfes on their property? Does that happen in the US? I really don't understand the concern here. Don't get me wrong, I get why some people don't want skaters to scratch up the rails and curbs on their privat property, but that whole liability argument seems bullshit to me.

The way he just kept bailing at the same spot everytime, if I was there, I would not think he'd pull it off in that session. Kinda crazy he did land it after making it to the third rail 1 time. Maybe the 2nd time

To me that reads like someone being frustrated by more than just the situation they're dealing with.
I can imagine having a mental breakdown with camera’s in your face, being uploaded to the internet doesn’t help her mental state either. I feel a bit bad for her too but also I find it justifiable to get angry with her considering their circumstance. They were more than respectful and she just would not listen to reason.
FDR Park is big so she managing hundreds of families. If not a thousand. Probably got cussed out a hundreds of times in that day. I'm from NY and have been to FDR Park a handful of times. So I know how she may feel tryna manage everything. Ppl can be shitty.
