A good vacuum and powerful clothes dryer too. My flame point Siamese sheds like crazy! It must be specific to Siamese. And I love your terrazzo floors! Reminds me of when I was younger. Always had terrazzo floors, which was quite popular in Florida. Unfortunately, I don't see that floor too much anymore.
We love our terrazzo too! We are in Florida, so it feels so smooth and cool under your feet. And the cats love sprawling across it when it is hot outside.
I’m so relieved to know there’s other with a lot of cats. I have 6 and the hair is crazy. I don’t even like cooking anymore because it’s so bad. I can wipe everything down and it’s back the same way the next day. But I don’t vacuum everyday, and I need to get into that routine. But I work and I’m tired and it’s hard. Lol but great advice. Thank you.
Aww, thank you! I am lucky to have such great cats. I do have one cat, Kate Moss, who is very nervous and won't let me brush her...so I kind of brush her with my hands when she thinks I am only petting her!
I love to hug my cat. I noticed that denim doesn't collect cat hairs. Some tee shirts do, and some don't. Also, some microfiber or fleece collects cat hair terribly, while others doesn't. Wish i knew which was which before i bought it.
Some fabrics are just cat hair magnets ! I find that nubby cotton is the worst, so I avoid it all costs. I keep lint rollers in my closet so I can swipe my clothes off quickly before I head out. That and keeping the cats OUT of the closet so they don't bed down on all my clothes as they love to do!
I am allergic to pet hair but I really want to own a cat. I have heard tips like keeping your bedroom a pet free zone and using a HEPA filter when vacuuming or in an air purifier. What tips could you recommend?
Yes, those are helpful tips, and also there are sprays you can buy that you can wipe onto your cat's fur and it will help cut down on the dander. I know some people who are allergic to cats who find these helpful. Some people even overcome their allergies when they have been exposed long enough to cats. I intend to do some more research and do a video of how to help cat allergies soon.
Is it cruel to put a collar on a cat In case it gets caught on something and a bell on a cat collar that is noise for the cat for every step the cat takes? Cats are sensitive to noise.
My husband composes all my music--I am SO lucky! I think you are referring to the original "Kitten School" theme song. It hasn't gone away, I just like to mix things up a little bit! Thanks for the comment!
Or an easier one don't let them on the furniture.. Brushes are okay but if u have a nasty cat who will attack u everyone u get the brush out there's no point In it and blankets r okay but cleaning them doesn't get rid of cat hair it sticks to it and I still have no idea why cats like pillows to sleep on when they have own cat beds haha
No such thing as fur free there will always be hair flying through the air and landing in your food. Well I vacuum everyday and every other day in some areas. Yes I have to have covers in all my furniture even a top cover on my bed. But I've narrowed it down to 1 cat in my bedroom and no litter box in my room I can breath again. Had terrible time breathing using tidy cats litter. Had to change to 99.99 percent dust free and dust free litter. Have to dust the house 2 times a week. I have 2 cats on front porch 2 on back porch plus 2 or 3 strays. They are strictly outdoors cats then I have rooms for my other cats and 1 I can trust to run the whole house. I have more than the normal. I had more but I gave 1 away and 3 passed away. I still miss my babies. Currently I have a dying cat he is 17 yrs old. Beautiful blonde male. Like I said no such thing of fur free. There's a product out there called fur-gone just comb across any surface and it scoops up cat hair. Thier beds and blankets etc.oh yes washing too.
Interesting video. My best advice is to get cats in your preferred clothing color range.
🥰😍 Awwwww 😂😂😂🥹
I actually lol'ed 😅
@@Emma-ox4ki 😂 😂 so did i!!!

Invest into a very good robot cleaner. Mine has filter for hair and dust, a must have.
Sticky roller brushes a must have. Also a handheld battery powered dustbuster. When peoplevisit no hard petting in house esp during shedding season
Haha, my cats do the same. Meow and put a paw up demanding the brushing continues if you stop.
World's Best Mom!
Very good tips. I really need to be better at brushing my Catarina regularly.
I think you will find it beneficial, and Catarina will love you for it!
Lint rollers are my pal, though i could stand to brush my little boy Waffle more regularly.
You are a cat whisperer! Your videos and techniques with cats are amazing! And they behave so calm and relaxed near you!

What is the best way to introduce brushing to adult cats?
You must be the best kitty mom in the world...
Wow...
I'm so impressed...
a squeege does a great job collecting cat fur off blankets furniture etc.
I love the idea of buying cheap throws. I'm going to go out and buy some today thanks for the tip
Thank you!!
You're welcome!

There are cat breeds that trigger a 70% lighter alergy like Siberian Forest Cat
Dust free litter. If your allergic to cat hair best to not get one.
If only my cat loved brushing
Your Siamese looks more like a seal point rag doll
very nice
Can cat fur and hairballs be spun into yarn!?!!
not sure about yarn but there is a book on amazon called 'Crafting with Cat Hair'
I am so ordering that book NOW!
*Brush that Cat*
*Sweep that floor*
*Wash those throws*
*Fluff that pillow*

I liked the old song better!

Caroline your husband is very talented. Very good song (the original). This one is good too.
Maybe your cats shed so much cause you’re not using the right kind of brush...

When there fur on the carpet I take my flip flops and rub them on the carpet. The fur sticks in small balls and it's ease to throw it away.
Nice!
