1:19 I thought that was a Mazdaspeed RX7 on the lift for a second. My favourite RX7 kit by far. Although upon examination it seems to be a GT-C bumper. Still very nice.
That little solenoid you replaced will fix the issue without a shadow of a doubt. That torque dip area is boxed in absolutely precisely between the activation of the secondary and the auxiliary ports. Essentially what you have going on there is two of your 6 ports being closed off, so you're at a little more than 2/3 of your final power. I'd expect to see well over 220 at the next dyno run!
Im not an expert but from what I've heard the RX-8 motors do not like boost and you can't really make good power with them. If you want boost you need a 13-b from an RX-7

Fun fact about bridgeported renesis’ and lightened Renesis rotors. Porting literally does next to nothing for power, the engine is already maxed out. There is plenty of info to support this, but also, there is plenty of false info being thrown around that says otherwise. As for lightened Renesis rotors, while lightening will allow for quicker revs, they are very unbalanced. This will lead to excessive bearing wear and possibly housing and iron damage. The problem is that Renesis rotors do not have enough material to both lighten AND balance, so you need to pick and choose what you actually want. I sent my Rx8 rotors to CLR motorsports who explains all of this in this video: ruclips.net/video/HahComhZR9c/видео.html This may have been done in the video already, but when dynoing an RX-8 the ABS system needs to be disabled. Nate Rist funny that because my bridged renesis makes 215whp and is definitely quicker than stock, I have the lightened and balanced rotating assembly to and have no problems as of yet, Rotary revs also tuned and built my engine and couldn’t be happier with it
No it doesn’t, uncalibrated or altered dyno results are not at all uncommon, porting WILL NOT make any considerable power over stock in a Renesis period. If you knew anything about the Renesis you’d know that. But enjoy your placebo I guess

This is what happens when you buy a 650 quid used car.. Everything needs replacement. You cannot be expecting perfection from a 650 quid ruined car. Yes it is very possible. This is probably the reason for the poor placement of the rotary engine , not only here but for a large number of RX models , and even NSU . Even when both coil packs failed on 1 rotor, it still drove (I had it towed out of fear it was more serious, but I hooked up an OBD scanner and saw misfire on rotor 1, coupled with the fact it sounded like half my engine just stopped, pretty much meant coil pack or spark plug). I replaced both since I think the spark plugs were the original, and those being worn out cause coil packs to wear out fast too. That's been my only problem, so not bad. I know a lot more people with a lot more severe issues on new cars, and I bet none of those would survive my horrible shifting (if shifting is what you call that grinding sound I often make...), and I keep it pretty well pegged on the RPM (I don't think many cars would last running like a rotary can).
