I would love to see your plans to build a similar rover, it would be cool and to add a micro cooler for the electrics as built on tested by Adam Savage to keep the electronics cool while testing it in the Mohave Desert where it has gotten as hot as 130. Let me know if your interested in a calaboration
@@carlossicilia870 It shows. I do a little of this with raspberry pie and the chassis alone is a good amount of work. Id like to find a mars rover chassis myself since I dont have the tools to make. Yours is VERY polished looking. I'm impressed
Hey Carlos - this is the second of your videos that I stumbled upon... really fantastic job. I just subscribed to find out what you've got planned next :) I can't wait to do a similar demo of my ROVer project here on RUclips as well!
Hey can you please provide the entire information about the motor part, and the electrical integration part? Any pdf or any document or github? Thankss
Hi Carlos , great work, I would like to know if you have more details on the suspension , I would like to know how it was built , can you share some information please
I'm proud; is this built on JPL's Open Source Rover, at least in terms of inspiration? I like how it recreates a lot of the scientific instrumentation.
Thanks !!! This model is based on the real model. I built it almost 5 years ago ... The JPL model is only 1 year old. I designed it by extrapolating measurements from dozens of JPL photos. I also think that the JPL's Open Source Rover is very ugly ... jejeje ... my little critter is prettier, jejeje
Now, a few of the finer motors are a little jerky, but hey you're not made of money so It's cool. I'm sure with more time you can improve it if it is still intact. Do you ever feel like working on it some more? If you feel really ambitious, you could actually try to make as much of the insturmentation as functional as possible. As ugly as the JPL rover is, it's just a platform; they encourage people to put their own spin on it.
Hi. This is an amazing project that you and your team completed. I was hoping you could tell me the name of the exact motors you used for the 6 wheels. Thanks
Thanks so much for getting back to me. I am after setting myself a tough challenge. I will be trying to build something similar (but 3D printed) in just over 2 months. It's for my final year in University. I have very little experience but I'm going to try :) I would love to ask you more, but I would keep you here all day :) Thanks again

This is simply epic!
Thank you, it's my little critter...slowly it grows... jejeje

Amazing congratulations, I really wanted to produce one for myself.
This was a triump of engineering. Great work. Very clever
Thank you very much!!! Almost a year of work until the little creature saw the world ...

Siempre he querido un rover!!!

Thanks again !!! I built by hobby and learn ...
The next project will take time ... but I hope it fly!!!
Go ahead with your ROVer !!! Cheer up!!!
Very cool; a drone?
NASA to government at the store:
- Can we have a brand new Mars rover?
Government to NASA:
- But dear, we have a rover at home:
Wonderful work; wonderful presentation!
Thank you very much, I'm still working on it
I got goosebumps watching this! It's a glorious machine! What type of control system are you using?
Do you have a full parts list and build instructions? I see some Actobotics parts there.
well done looks amazing!
nicely done!
Which type of junction did you use to unite bogie to rocker?
Hey can you please provide the entire information about the motor part, and the electrical integration part? Any pdf or any document or github? Thankss
Here is the github project enjoy. github.com/luismartinnuez/OpenCuriosity
Muchas gracias!!! Sigo trabajando en esta máquina!!!
Wow Mind Blowing
Watching after Perseverance launch
'
JPL / NASA did make the great wonderful curiosity rover and touch landding the mars ground
Hey, can you give me some information about the motors you use on the wheels, if possible, can I get a link?
Wow! That is amazing! Great job!
Thank you!!! nine months working on it ... as a bad pregnancy !!!
What is the price you want or you bought it?
End effector control is not good enough , you should make more progress about it
wow is amazing 😯😲

Did you make it yourself?

Better then NASA :)
I am very much interested about this could you help me to make like this one one
Can we use machine learning and make it fully automated??
yes
Hello, can you provide the 3d file for rocker bogie ?
That is the same kid na in this video who was claiming to be having a origin of Mars resident
this is awesome did u 3d print it?
AWESOME! I feared the death of this amazing project, but nay it lives on!
yes, progresses slowly, but it doesn't die ... jejeje
buen trabajo. Genial
Hi. This is an amazing project that you and your team completed. I was hoping you could tell me the name of the exact motors you used for the 6 wheels. Thanks
Hi, thanks. I have used Pololu motors. In particular these: www.pololu.com/product/2827

this is beyond belief - do you mind telling me the weight.
Very very good work congratulations!!! Hey brother can you say me what is the name of the song??? please
truly beautiful!!!! :-)
How many days did you finished this?
How you can control the servos?
www.pololu.com/product/1352
Ficou interessante e até legal! Rio RJ Brasil
What is the torque of the servo motor used?
Hello, 4kg.cm wheel servo. Arm servos: 25kg.cm at shoulder, 4kg.cm at elbow and 1.5kg.cm at tool holder
ardiuno code plese give in description

Hola, gracias!!! Solo lleva una batería LiPo de 14,8v (4S) de 4500mAh marca TURNIGY. Con ella consigue una autonomía de unos 50'
Saludos
owo this is awesome very nice

dude that is awesome!! how much would u charge me to build me something like this??
I also made mars rover . you can check if interested
Dear Carlos, what is your e-mail?
It's son cool
this is like 100x faster the the real rover lol. i hope that rtg on the back is fake lol.
jajaja... Yes, otherwise the video is too long !!!
