people bash scott hall for chasing the money but as he says himself: he spent TWENTY YEARS in the business taking average pay checks simply because he loved what he did, but when he got to his forties and had a family he realised his career wouldnt go on forever and he had to think about chasing serious cash. thats just plain common sense. for what hes given to the fans over the years i think he deserves all the money in the world and a true wrestling fan would NEVER hold that against him.
Also, what made Flair great was the wrestlers that he worked with such as Valentine, Piper, Steamboat, Blanchard, Arn anderson, Windham, etc. They made him look great period. Hall can almost be guarenteed to be seen in TNA sooner or later but he needs to get back to the training in the gym. I saw a match recently and he really let himself go. I respect his talent and what he has accomplished but to be around as long as Flair which he's capable of will take work. Nuff Said!
Hall and Nash made wrestling something to look foward to when the did the NWO work in WCW, but as far as the Undertaker goes I have to say I disagree with you on that. The Undertaker was a character that was very solitary. He was destined to go far with the right angles. I will say that Scott in my opinion is one of the best and most underrated workers the industy has had. As far as Flair goes he's the nature boy and a great heel, but unfortunatly he has the same match constantly.
I'm an indy wrestler from Ga. I worked the show he's talking about with Sid. They were both super cool guy's. Really laid back and nice to everybody. That being said their "match" was embarassing. Scott could barely walk cause of his knees and he wrestled in bluejeans and an ICP jersey. All they did was kick and punch for about 4-6 minutes then botched the finish and charged the promoter $2500 dollars each. MGCW allmost went under because of it.
Scott is the man, but its sad that he thinks WWE would give him a job commentating. He would be awesome, but he needs to abstain from all drugs and alcohol.
Scott Hall v Sid Vicous a main event anywhere in the world? Maybe in 1998, now it's just two dudes that used to be somebody. Amazing how these guys never see when their time is over.
say what you want about his problems or issues, but most people like me(19) who are life long wrestling fans can admit that at one point, or many in their lives they were HUGE scott hall marks. whether its the bad guy, (and I dont care what anyone says) hall MADE the nWo character and ability wise, his comebacks to TNA, or whatever. I'm a huge jake roberts fan, but no matter how much praise he gets with his demons, hall should get the same, if not even more.
Scott hall was one of the best wrestlers around,if not The best. Great body, great mic skills, great charisma in the ring and great gimmick. Personal demons kept him back from the very top,but he still remains the best
Ive always dug Scott Hall, regardless of what he's been through outside of the ring. So entertaining in the ring and on the mic, and now outside of the ring as well with Scott Hall TV. Not sure if he's still doing it, i havent seen any vids uploaded in a while, but i suggest you all check it out. Another awesome interview Jack ... i love what you guys do man. Keep up the good work bro !
I'm glad to see someone giving a true wrestling worker his dues. Scott Hall for his size was one of the most dynamic and explosive wrestlers of his time. He'll always be one of my favs. You have a great point of view when it comes to "True" wrestling icons. I'm an old school wrestling fan for 1976 til' the present day and if you don't mind,...can I add you to my list of "Logical" friends? Thanks for the words of wisdom.
PLEASE, shoot interviewers, do more interviews with 1960s to mid-70s WWWF wrestlers and/or people who wee there in that era or at least are very familiar with that era of the WWWF!
People r so quick to bag out Scott Hall (as if their perfect and have never fucked up before) but like it or not, Scott Hall with Kevin Nash changed the business for the better! Every single wrestler today who's on guaranteed money, can thank Hall & Nash. Hall & Nash were all about the boys in the back, the better of the product, I've heard from multiple WCW guys who said when Hall & Nash came in they treated everyone with nothing but respect, hung out in the locker room with the "mid card" guys, rather than act all high and mighty in their own personal locker room. And for those who'll say I'm a Hall mark, I actually wasn't a fan of his, but you can't deny fact. Kudos to him for sorting out his personal life.
Matthew Caligari Hall and Nash didn't create the concept of guaranteed money, if anything Eric Bischoff and WCW had already started doing it long before...they didn't make guaranteed contracts widespread in wrestling, that's a myth
but Bret is really what pushed him out of the limelight to be honest with ya. Owen in my opinion was more dynamic than Bret in my opinion but there styles were also very different. Bret was scientific and calculating where Owen was more "extreme" and explosive. Bret just over shadowed Owen in McMahons eyes. Plus the Blue Blazer gimic didn't really get over. He was pound for pound in my opinion better than bret but just didnt get the proper push in my opinion.
Now,....onto Bret. Bret is in my opinion one of the most scientifically tuned wrestlers of all time but quite like Flair he had the same match so many times.......depending who he wrestled. Also he sucked on the "stick" so his CHarisma was never that of say a Hogan or a Randy Savage. He was one of the true greats tho. Im by no means shitting on your opinions by any means. We just see things differently. I've been watch wrestling since 1975 so I'm more old school. Hit me back. Im liking this!
Every HBK match, he definitely put over whoever he was wrestling...definitely way more than Bret Hart, with that said, i am not saying Bret Hart didnt carry other wrestlers, but HBK did it the BEST.
@grtas1 ummm. Owen was a 9 to 10 I agree in fact he'd tank matchs for the boys in the back. But Hall was a 9 - 10 too. He worked, he got over, he could put heat, and he could cut a stright promo or flashy. He's just a drunk, that doesnt change that he was one of the greatest workers of the late 80's and whole 90's. In fact he was a helper, he gave Sting that Crow thing and like he's talking about now with Sid. He was a great talent threw and threw and was the only worker in the NwO.
Hall would be the greatest commentator of all time???????? Maybe the drunkest of all time, don't get me wrong, I like Scott, but commentating???????? That's a stretch.
Hall had drinking problems, but at least he didn't pull 20 pounds of muscles in 4 months, and he didn't get fired twice for it..and thankfully he never botched as many matches as regal did only in a month. Flair was good, but continued for too long, becoming just pathetic, since the evolution days. I've seen harley race, but obviously, you never saw Rezor ramon or scott hall (in his both charachters) at their best.
@atlkinkyboi Bret carried Bulldog on all their matches including the Wembley Stadium match when Bulldog was coming down off a fucking crack binge from the night before with The Anvil! Bret Hart could have a great match with anybody. HBK picked and chose who and when he wanted to have a great match with! Him and the clique were pathetic. Austin got put over due to his matches with Bret! You don't know shit about Bret Hart if you're not even gonna talk about Bret's work with Hennig and Dynamite!
@SovereignStatesman you always have something negative to say. Get it through your head that you aren't always right, even though you think you are... And PLEASE don't be so damn cynical. You criticize in every single comment you post. I don't like the word "hater" but damn you sure are one. You are the definition of "cynical"...and "smug". Don't be so self-absorbed and tense...LIGHTEN UP! If you're just going to spew more negativity, this time my way, as I'm sure you are, just don't reply
@kirkwanglers32 HBK >>> Brett and its not even close. Brett harts matches are boring as Fuck. The only ones worth watching are the ones against Austin, HBK, and the british bulldog. Theres nothing fantastic about brett.
Flair the "Chop-goonthetoprope-thenfall" guy? Good wrestler, just NOT the best. William Regal just pathetic, even when he actually WAS in shape..that's before they too him out of the picture for taking steroids. On harley race nothing to say, good wrestler but not a total package.
Just because Hogan and Andre "arguably" have similar voices that doesn't prove everyone juicing sounds the same! That's such a weak logic. Ronnie Coleman & Jay Cutler along with 90% of all pro BB's have completely different voices to Hogan. Most of them have high voices (especially Ronnie) Maybe HGH enlarges your larynx i'm not even gonna get into that but you should really rephrase your sentences and not say stupid shit like "Steroids make just about anyone sound the same" Come on, Really?
yeah you're right sorry about my comment. Come to think of it Arnold Schwartzeneggar, Ronnie Coleman & Kai Greene sound exactly like Hulk Hogan It must be the steroids! Do you even lift? LOL
LOL! ohhh wow this is the awkward moment where I realise i've been arguing with an immature primary school kid. Lol seriously? Toilet Humour?? WTF Lol anyway mate i'm off take care. Stay in school & don't do drugs (apparently they make your larynx bigger)

Hearing this, I would have had him call it with Mike Tenay on Impact.
Scott hall was one of the best wrestlers around,if not The best. Great body, great mic skills, great charisma in the ring and great gimmick. Personal demons kept him back from the very top,but he still remains the best
feel better Scott
awesome shoot.
@SovereignStatesman you hit the spot on a lot but dances of wolves came out after tatanka...he was wrestling way before that movie
thank you, sir. i listen when i can

Scott was the man and the Kilq was like the dream team.
9 years later you get a reply 😂😂
Scott nothing but love my dude a true legend bad times don't last but bad guys do

PLEASE, shoot interviewers, do more interviews with 1960s to mid-70s WWWF wrestlers and/or people who wee there in that era or at least are very familiar with that era of the WWWF!
Hall was the man and needs to replace the king on raw
Thanks man
Thanks Des (This is Jack from the show)

Couple months ago, was new when I posted it
i hope that Scott gets better, and does start commentating for Raw
It's kinda sad, he wanted to do commentary, could have been good at it, but now is hard to understand due to his stroke
hahahah scott hall is the most loveable cocky guy in the universe, gotta love the bad guy, mr. charisma himself
If Scott got back in shape, Sid v Scott would be a great match, but I don't think it'd be a main event in WWE. Still a good match though.
Scott hall is the man that is never sober! but hes the shit!
people are so judgmental on these comments, jeez, get a hobby other than shitting on people you never met
Every HBK match, he definitely put over whoever he was wrestling...definitely way more than Bret Hart, with that said, i am not saying Bret Hart didnt carry other wrestlers, but HBK did it the BEST.
I wanna meet scott one day maybe have a couple drinks haha . Who wants to see Scott vs. Sid in the WWE? Scott come back for WM 30!!
poor scott hall couldnt beat his drink demon
@grtas1 ummm. Owen was a 9 to 10 I agree in fact he'd tank matchs for the boys in the back.

what is the url i cant hear a dang thing he is pronouncing
Man, I would love it if Scott was a commentator
I didn't think Sid Vicious wrestled any more after his leg snapped when he was wrestling Big Pappa Pump??!!!
when another wresler loses against another in order to get him popular with the fans
sid was just on RAW
he still conditions.
and would help facilitate hall's health
I thought Hall and Nash had a clause in their contract saying no one could make more than them
Hulk: "Thats not going to work for me brothers"😳
it went fantastic...I'm sure it did...ya right...main event...in 1992 maybe
Why doesn't Vince give this guy a chance to commentate?
I don't think Owen is better than Bret I just think that he had a better career than Scot Hall and any other wrestler who never won the big one.
HALL FTW
No no,Sycho Sid rules the world!
Wasn't Piper's Gimmick playing up his actual Scottish heritage?
Hey yo!
Say......hello........to the bad guy!
You wanna war, chico? Hey yo, you gonna get one.
Owen Hart is the greatest wrestler never to have won the big one - ten times more talented than Hall.
@Dumblewh0re dude, he was being sarcastic.
Iraq Wars = Muhammad Hassan and Iron Cheek, superhero movies = the Hurricane, need I go on?
@kirkwanglers32 yup i have his best of bret dvd collection!
iyh puts out some of the better shoots
@omhat superbrawl 2000 sid vs hall vs jeff jerrett
cool
Hall had nowhere near the ring talent of Owen. Hall was at best a 7 and more likely a 6 whereas Owen was atleast a 9 and more likely a 10.
Hall would be the greatest commentator of all time???????? Maybe the drunkest of all time, don't get me wrong, I like Scott, but commentating???????? That's a stretch.
@Dumblewh0re Dam!hahahahahahaha..
Talk about an ego....
@TheEndKing I'm shocked
He sounds wasted.
Hall had drinking problems, but at least he didn't pull 20 pounds of muscles in 4 months, and he didn't get fired twice for it..and thankfully he never botched as many matches as regal did only in a month. lol Scott is so cocky
Fucking seriously.
YUP!
NWO rules the world??? When Sid joined WCW in 1999?? Yeah right....
Hall over Sid anyday of the week. Sid has no talent.
@SovereignStatesman you always have something negative to say.
