- Life isn't always great. VanLife is no different. We have good times and bad. Does it ever feel like the effects of a bad time last longer than those of the good times? How we respond to life and the choices we make about our happiness can have a noticeable effect on how we ride out life's less desirable moments.
We Slow Roamers like to read to each other when we're on the road and we've been reading a great book that we want to share from. Brooks & Winfrey offer some basic lessons we can all digest and practice to help increase the level of happiness we experience in life, despite its ups and downs. The book we're reading is Build the Life You Want by Arthur C Brooks & Oprah Winfrey.

Is there a way to have a parts list as for suspension upgrades you have done to it?
We sure did keep it 2WD! We decided to spend all the money we’d have used on 4WD swap on travel instead. We know from experience that we can reach about 90-95% of the places we want to go in the van with 2wd. We’re currently using a WeldTecDesigns 3” spindle lift and will also be upgrading our rear springs to their progressive leaf spring later this winter. There’s a video on our channel that shows the install of the front spindles and has a bit.ly link to the lift itself. All the best with your upgrades!🙌🏻

I remember reading Schopenhauer (German philosopher) years back and one thing that stuck with me is his saying that life is pendulum moving between boredom and pain and after 40+ years i have to agree. If i remember right he said that the time we are probably most happy is during sleep! No wonder it's my favorite. I think if you are happy 24.7 you probably have some mental disorder :)
