Great work by Matthews! Strong influence of Tippett for sure.

Muy buena. Con influencias del "Misterio" de Skryabin/Nemtin. Gracias por hacernos felices. Thank you for making us happy.

Always thought David's music was gentler than this.

Interesting but not innovative - Sibelius, R. Strauss, Bartok, Britten, Bax said it before. However, 2nd part of 1st movement (kind of dramatic march marked by deep drums) leads to some hope of new ideas but...not too much diverse of movie track new style of music.

If we were to dismiss every piece that bears the influence of other composers, we would have nothing left to listen to.

Alexandre le petit, son empire des chiottes au salon, point d'innovation!
