In this video you will see a recipe for white Lipka for modeling.
What is Lipka?
Lipka is a homemade clay for modeling. The recipe and the name of this material were developed by the author of the "Cheerful Craft" channel.
What are the advantages of Lipka over paper clay?
As you know, paper clay is one of the most popular homemade materials for modeling. But it has its drawbacks. For example, some time after drying, a paper clay product may emit a bitter odor. Also, paper clay has a short shelf life and is sometimes covered with mold.
White Lipka does not have an unpleasant odor. Its shelf life is much longer than that of paper clay. In addition, Lipka is not covered with mold and can withstand short-term ingress of water. Properly processed products from white Lipka can be installed in the yard and in the garden.
What are the disadvantages of Lipka?
After drying, microscopic cracks may appear on a very thin layer of Lipka. But the same cracks appear on paper clay. To make the crack disappear, just smear it with fresh Lipka. And to prevent cracks from appearing at all, make a thicker layer of Lipka.

Ingredients of White Lipka:
- PVA glue (500g)
- Vinegar 9%(8 tablespoons)
- Wheat flour (400g)
- White Cement M-400 (480g)
- Napkins (20g)
Depending on the required density of Lipka, the number of ingredients may vary. For example, to make a thicker Lipka, reduce the amount of vinegar. Conversely, to make Lipka softer, add more vinegar.

The clay like thing, does it have a shelf life, since flour is added. Or can you just store it and it last indefinitely?
Hello. I know for sure that a properly made Lipka can be stored in an airtight container for at least two months, even at room temperature. Then it can be used for modeling. I checked this personally. To increase the shelf life of Lipka should be stored in the refrigerator.

Hi. Your Lipka is great. I use to my lipka putty for wall insted white cement and lipka was amazing. Super plastic and easy to modeling shape or tekstures. I use too mach vinegar and my lipka was littlebit so wet but still so good. I added more putty and was better. I made flower vase and looks so great. Very interesting! I'm thinking this could be very useful for architectural model making.
I tried halving the ingredients. The clay felt very good, but the next day when I took it out of tupperware and ziplock bags I had two rocks. They are beautiful rocks and I will paint them, but I am disappointed I couldn't do my sculpture with them. They are really really hard. My husband thought they were actual rocks. Also you make it look easy, but I found it to be hard work! Lots of stirring and kneading - it took me 45 minutes to make my "clay".
Hello. White Lipka hardens quickly even in airtight packaging, if your white cement is M-500 and above. If you use M-400, Lipka will not harden.
If your Lipka has hardened, it should not be discarded immediately. It can be made soft. To do this, cut Lipka into small pieces, place in a bowl, sprinkle with water and leave for about 30 minutes. Then break Lipka, and it will become soft again and will not harden so quickly again.

Рецепт аналогичен рецепту серой Липки( она прекрасна👍👍👍). Белый портланд цемент изменяет, я поняла, только цвет. Для некоторых мастеров это имеет значение. Для меня это неважно, но поищу всё-таки беленький, вдруг он окажется лучше серого?!!! Благодарю Вашу прекрасную щедрую душу!❤️❤️❤️
Здравствуйте. Спасибо за хороший комментарий. Да, рецепты белой липки от серой отличаются только цветом цемента. Если решите сделать белую липку, то делайте именно из белого портландцемента М-400, т.к. М-500 и выше имеют другие свойства. Они быстро застывают даже в герметичной упакове.

Думаю, что можно использовать любой клей ПВА, но я использую строительный. Сложнее найти правильный цемент (белый М-400). Если цемент найти сложно, то его можно заменить либо на серый, либо на гипсовую шпаклевку.

@@user-ih8kn2eu6w Нет, это цемент. Сама только загуглила цемент М400, почитала. Там очень малое количество гипса, плюс минеральные добавки. Сами гляньте. А вот чистый гипс не советую добавлять. В прошлом году насмотревшись мастеров-мастериц, решила заняться таким же творчеством. Ну и попробовала с гипсом - всё затвердело. Поэтому пока использую массу папье-маше без цемента или шпатлёвки. Делаю для детей-внуков домики, кашпо.
Но так хочется для улицы что-либо сотворить. Вот и смотрю всякие рецепты масс для лепки.

@@user-uw2qu2nn7b нет это не гипс и не алебастр, это цемент белый есть м 400, есть м 500, есть м 600 . Эти цифры обозначаю вес выдерживающий 1 см в кубе этого цемента. Купить можно в озоне от 2 кг и более

@@taniapinajota6696 se puede modelar bien y cuando no se amasa fina, es excelente. Secarlas sobre una malla para que seque pareja. Asi no se resquebraja. Yo trabajo en mosaicos pequeños y medianos y resulta excelente. Saludos

Hello, thank you for your teaching video. I have a question. I made this recipe but it turned out rubbery and hard. I think I used the wrong proportions converting the grams to cups which we use primarily in Canada. I do not have a weight scale to measure the weight differences. I also used carpenters pva glue which is quite strong. Do you have a conversion scale that would match the same measurements as yours. I got my conversion scale off the internet and it did not work well. I would appreciate hearing back from you as I would really like to try this recipe again. Also, I used bleached all white purpose flour. Does it need to be wheat flour? Thanks for any help you can give.

Hello. I use wheat flour itself. You can try another flour. But the result may be different.

But be careful when choosing cement. If you add M-500 and above, your Lipka can become solid even when stored in an airtight container. Therefore, I recommend using white or gray cement M-400 (or its analogue).
Although even if you use M-500, after curing in most cases Lipka can be softened. But I will shoot a separate video about it.

Each cement must be tested separately. Even the brand of cement M-400 from different manufacturers can behave differently.
I use white cement M-500. But in order for Lipka not to harden, the next day it should be taken out of the refrigerator, chopped with a knife, sprinkled with water from a spray bottle, and then mixed again. After that, my Lipka made of white cement M-500 does not harden for a long time if stored in a regular plastic bag in the refrigerator.

Bonjour. Si le Lipka est devenu dur après le pétrissage, je le sors et le broie ou le coupe en petits morceaux avec un couteau. Ensuite, je mets l'argile dans un bol, la vaporise avec de l'eau provenant d'un flacon pulvérisateur, la recouvre d'un sac et la laisse reposer environ une heure. Ensuite je mélange bien le tout jusqu'à obtention de la consistance nécessaire. Après cela, Lipka ne durcira plus dans l'emballage.

Tengo muchas ganas de probar esta receta, pero quisiera saber qué diferencia hay entre esta masa y la del video "The best paper clay recepe without water", ya que son muy similares, sólo que esta lleva cemento blanco, y la otra "building putty finish" (lo que creo que sería una masilla para acabado para paredes). Sí, pueden aparecer grietas en Lipka. Pero en mi trabajo no son críticos y se pueden difuminar fácilmente.

Hola. Desafortunadamente, no sé a qué te refieres cuando dices "restaurar la pata de la tortuga". Debe saber de qué material está hecho y en qué condiciones se utilizará.
Para hacer menos Lipka, divide el peso de cada ingrediente, por ejemplo, por 2. En este caso, obtienes la mitad de lo que se muestra en el video. También puede dividir por 4. En este caso, obtiene 1/4 de la cantidad de Lipka, que se muestra en el video.

Hi thanks for sharing …how long can you work with links …before it goes hard in a sealed plastic bag or container ..please also when project is finished how much time is needed before it’s dry …and does project have to be covered 50 % in plastic. So it dries slowly. Like wit clay??? Thank fro m
Hello. The molding can be stored in airtight packaging for more than two months. But that's only if you pick the right ingredients. For example, if the cement is not M400, and M500, you will have to change the recipe a bit. I start painting my products 24-48 hours after modeling.
Hola a todos ayer hice la masa con mucha ilusión ya que en el video se ve hermosa la masa para trabajar ,pero fue una pérdida de tiempo y dinero, despues de hacerla la guarde en bolsas como se muestra en el video y las puse dentro de un recipiente hermetico ,pero hoy cuando la voy a usar esta totalmente rigida y no hubo forma de recuperarla No digo que la masa no sirva lo que pienso que cada uno debe ir viendo como está su masa e ir agregando ingredientes .Yo por ejemplo usé cola de carpintero que es mucho más densa que la cola escolar entonces pienso que debí usar mucho menos harina y cemento ,lastima no saberlo antes para poder ajustar cantidades .Tal vez la haga otra vez con otra cola más fluida ,si es bueno el resultado lo compartiré con ustedes .
Hola. Me alegro de que le hayas echado un vistazo a esta receta. Pero lo más probable es que la razón por la que al día siguiente tu Lipka se haya endurecido no esté en el pegamento, sino en la marca del cemento. Esto también me pasa a mí, si compro el cemento equivocado. ¡Pero no es importante! Incluso el Lipka duro se puede suavizar. Para ello, al día siguiente de amasar, lo rompo o lo corto en trocitos pequeños. Luego pongo estos pedazos de Lipka en un recipiente, los rocío con agua limpia de una botella con atomizador, los cubro con una bolsa y los dejo durante aproximadamente una hora. Luego mezclo el Lipka con mis manos. Después de eso, Lipka ya no se endurecerá tan rápido en una bolsa sellada y se puede usar durante mucho tiempo.

Собственно говоря не вижу особой разницы между липкой и бумажной глиной. Только в глине вместо цемента шпатлёвка. Пробовала и то и то. Всё хорошо. Только шпатлёвку легче найти. У нас при вопросе про белый цемент смотрят на меня как на больную на голову.
Здравствуйте. Разница между Липкой и Бумажной глиной есть, т.к. в них используются абсолютно разные ингредиенты. Например, в рецепте Липки нет растительного или другого масла (масло после высыхания может издавать неприятный горький запах), жидкого мыла и естественно шпаклевки. Ну а в Бумажной глине нет уксуса и цемента (белого либо серого). И еще, Липка хранится гораздо дольше и не портится даже при комнатной температуре, а Бумажная глина может покрываться грибком, особенно между стеклом и глиной, или между картоном и глиной.
Белый цемент можно заказать через интернет, а серый можно купить в любом строительном магазине.
