Hello and thank you so much for sharing... The very day I was researching trying to find a solution to shrinking of air dry clay your post came through about 5 hours later. I was so pleased and encouraged. I am currently overseas and the items you list can be found here. I will be making this later today and giving it a try. I will certainly be reviewing all of your posts and have subscribed to your channel. Blessings... Diana O

My question is, how long does this clay last when dry? Does it break down over time, get yellow, or does the oil in it become rancid? Thank you in advance.

You could probably use mineral oil or liquid parrafin (unscented baby oil or at local pharmacy).

    Calcium Carbonate is cheap:
Can be added to any acrylic
paint and any coloured paint if you
want to turn it into chalk-paint:
and it's not expensive as store
    bought chalk-paint:
The calcium C. thickens the acrylic paint: this
thickening makes sure the area you want to
paint is covered well: it hides all marks etc..
Once yr paint is dry, you are ready for
    eg... decoupaging and remodernizing
anything you want, especially old or dirty wood, any
old or outdated ceramics glass and
furniture, that you want to make it look shabby
    Chic or french vintage antique:
If you accidentally put too much c/c into yr
paint and it's too thick just add more paint to
    thin it down:
You can wash brushes or any items...etc in water.
