I really like how your mix has the distortion without taking away from the natural acoustic guitar sound.
I do too, I think its just double tracked. one track recorded with the distortion, and the other without.
@@wing_nut_1018 could be setup to distort on higher volume, harder attacks on the strings. you only hear distortion when he attacks the strings hard. if it is so, good eq setup.

No it's not doubled the the sound hole pick up it what's being distorted while the mic is picking up the clean acoustic guitar.

I might be wrong, but that's what I gathered.
