Ok guys thnx for ur advice i am also thinking to go for xuv as i dont have to go for adventure or do off roading and on highway xuv is a beast and am a owner of xuv500 as well so.
Anyday I will pick Scorpio N. Its best of both worlds ( Thar and Xuv700) . The electronics inside Xuv700 reliability is a question. Scorpio N gives you that middle ground between analog and digital. Perfect combination.

One very important and useful feature in scorpio N and XUV 700 is park regeneration of DPF ( Diesel particulate filter}. We can clear the clogged DPF when the vehicle is parked. In safari we have to drive the vehicle in highway for about 20 to 30 mts in high speed. This feature is a blessing for city dwellers. At 3000 km my Scorpio N,s DPF became clogged. I did park regeneration. Issue solved in 10 minutes
Ideally you should have also considered the off road capabilities of the Scorpio N as another point in the points comparison where both the Safari and Xuv700 would have fallen short…
Safari gets HID projector from the mid variants itself and not halogen. Yes halogen for the high bream and fog lamps. Also, its halogen for both XUV n Scorpio N except for the top variants.

Can I upgrade to Michelin Pilot Sport 4 SUV tyres 255/55/R18 from stock MRF Wanderers 235/60/R18?, for XUV 7OO Diesel Automatic FWD, (185HP; 450Nms) I guess it would improve it's Stability Handling (around curves) Braking (Grip) And being Michelin PS4s, drivng dynamics should get better by leaps and bounds.

Actually i also like Scorpio N. But THIRD ROW seats are very very tight...! 😢 And there is no 50:50 SEAT folding in third row...! Full entire seat itself you have to fold...! And there is no A/C vent, there is no charging point...! And more over WAITING PERIOD of SCORPIO N is too long...! So i booked TATA SAFARI JET EDITION THIRD ROW seats gets little space compare to Scorpio N. MIDDLE ROW seat gets sliding option. THIRD ROW seat gets A/C vent. And it has Charging point too. And MILEAGE also slightly better than Scorpio N. And within 1 month i will get it. BUTTTTTTTT,,,,Z BUT, BUT, BUT, ha ha ha ha 😂 TATA SAFARI after sales ohhhhhh ohhhhhh dont know how it goes...! Because i asked many peoples on road while i see on roads. Most of them are telling SIR, AFTER SALES SPARE PARTS ARE TOUGH TO GET...! And many of them are telling SIR, DONT HAVE ANY PROBLEMS. Arm rest is important for me as I drive long distance and while test driving safari, I found the arm rest to be useless as it was placed behind my optimum seating position. Yet to test drive XUV700 n Scorpio N. Did a test drive on Kia Karens, it too has a useless arm rest.
I think you are too biased for XUV700. It is not a fair comparison. And your point about steering of Tata Safari being hard at low speed is completely amateurish. Looks like you made this video by first watching other comparison videos on RUclips. If you would have genuinely driven all the three cars than you could have added more substance and originality in video. Anyhow good try.

But, yes, on inclined surfaces, especially hilly terrains you will feel a rear wheel drive terrain pulls linearly without any fuss. FWD on hills might slips or engine shudder or even go on wheel spins. But you have to agree that the reviewer is too biased towards the XUV then providing us with a neutral perspective. 🙂

Try the Scorpio N and you will feel the difference. City drive, the EPS is a boon. Not that Tata hydraulic steering is that heavy, but EPS is next level of effortlessness. We have come a long way from the days of Wagon R vague EPS. Current lot of EPS have good feel and gets progressive as speed increases.

"The safari is a legendary vehicle" The Safari was a legendary vehicle and Tata killed it's brand value with this FWD. The current one should never get the Safari badge. Let it be know as Harrier Plus or Harrier Pro or Harrier XL or whatever variant they want to call it but not the Safari. Safari should be a proper RWD and with 4x4 variants vehicle.

Try the Scorpio N and you will feel the difference. City drive, the EPS is a boon. Not that Tata hydraulic steering is that heavy, but EPS is next level of effortlessness. We have come a long way from the days of Wagon R vague EPS. Current lot of EPS have good feel and gets progressive as speed increases.

I was contemplating between xuv700 and safari at that time , i test drove it and i found its steering so weird , it was too hard in bumper to bumper traffic that i can feel the weight of the car !!!! And when i drove it fast it somehow become light which is absurd ! In comparison to scorpio n its a league behind !

The Safari was a legendary vehicle and Tata killed it's brand value with this FWD. The current one should never get the Safari badge. Let it be know as Harrier Plus or Harrier Pro or Harrier XL or whatever variant they want to call it but not the Safari. Safari should be a proper RWD and with 4x4 variants vehicle.
