Airbus literally didn't change the cockpit design for the A320neo and kept the old one, while the 737 Family has multiple cockpit changes. 737 MAX cockpit is more modern as it shares the same screen design with 787 and 777X, bigger and more modern

They are both special in their ways. Airbus has simpler controls and a more automated cockpit overall. Its stick is Fly By Wire. That is just an electronic input, but the boeing has a yoke that is hidraulically connected to the control surfaces. I would prefer the Airbus because of the simplicity, but i would also prefer Boeing because of its safety.
Well since I’m reading the a320 encyclopedia I can’t say it’s better or not but I am enjoying learning about the a320 and I think it’s an amazing plane.

One of the benefits if even a small one is that you don't have to have a yoke in between your legs you can move around like on a regular seat. And I've also heard that Airbus is a bit more Hi-Tech. But then again the 787 are in a class of its own as far as high-tech goes so they're both incredible.

I’ve been in both and can say the A320 family is very roomy compared to the 737 Max. It’s definitely built for comfort. However the 757 is definitely a win for Boeing, also very spacious.
