I'm actually making the Flax sweater light as a scrappy sweater with all my leftover sock yarn!
I am touched by your commitment to suicide prevention. I lost my middle daughter this way about 2 years ago. She was the one who took great joy in finding me fabulous yarns at thrift stores. I might have enough yarn to last the rest of my life and I think about her with every project . I have lots of small bits of leftover yarn and will enjoy seeing this next project.

Thank you Janna. Just today I found a hair that was probably hers. It was in a WIP I recently found from yarn she had bought for me. It warmed my heart.
I'm making a beekeepers quilt for my daughter's cat. My daughter already has that quilt that I made for her regular sized bed. Took multiple years to finish.

No. It starts around the outside and is decreased until it gets to the center.

I am working on a Habitation Throw using my leftover fingering weight yarn. I am also knitting the Lamina Wrap by Ambah O'Brien using my minis from my 2023 Advent set from Germany.
You made me laugh when you said you get annoyed that you have to sleep as I'm sitting here turning a heel at 4 minutes before 2:00 AM 😂
We've missed you Jana!!! Do you remember the blanket you were making with little scrap squares and you said we could send you yarn scraps? Sure would like to see how it turned out even if it's still a WIP. Your taking a break from YT for a bit reminded me of a slogan that I think was from McDonalds "You deserve a break today at McDonalds" Any way, that's what I think it was for, (although I wouldn't recommend McDonalds) you earned a big break after all the work you did with Ann over the holiday. We appreciate you very much🙃

I'm slowly, very slowly, crocheting a hexagon cardigan for myself, and knitting a pair of socks using the Up North pattern from My Yarny Corner. Gorgeous pattern.
I'm having pain in my hands and wrists. Had stays and scans and my doctor is telephoning me on Thursday with the results and a plan of action.
But it's terrible just sitting here with idle hands, that love to reach for the chocolate! 🙄😂
