Now you got fuel funny cars pushing 339mph to 1000ft. Totally nuts numbers..
And Schumacher went 299mph to the 1/8th mile in Arizona this weekend..

Moon Pie I suppose better internals and superchargers. I wonder if they would hold together to the quarter what would they run. Tires would be a question.

Damien Harris recently ran 336.99 at the City of Ipswich Winternationals here in Australia. In the not too distant future, the world Top Fuel speed record will belong to an Australian.

Not much the US drag racers can do about it, NHRA Top Fuel is stuck at a 1000 ft for the time being. Don't get too cocky though, the US fuel cars are creeping up on this speed record with 320 less ft. If they uncork those on the bigger 1/4 tracks, I'm guessing the bigger teams would be in the mid 340's easy...maybe even 350 mph.

LOL how about that 338 by Lagana? Americans had to go to Oz to cement that record I guess.

cmccarthy Hight ran 339 a couple years ago. In a 1,000 ft.

Nothing better than some proper drag racing at a quarter mile. Not this stupid 1000 ft crap
