Ok, so then are you saying that there was an issue with safety and regulation then? Because if you are implying that a hiring freeze and a director getting fired directly caused an accident 9 days later that’s pretty wild. Was the FAA director flying the helicopter? Was there 10 ATC employees that were due to be hired that somehow would have foreseen the crash but weren’t hired because of the freeze? The only way your comment makes sense is that there was a safety issue already in existence which the administration was aware of behind the scenes and tried to put things in to motion, but the accident was just overdue.
BTW neither of these options are my opinion, I’m just trying to understand yours.
