The depth of her voice, the pain, the hope the 'im too old for the bullshit' tone as she sings give the lyrics a whole new meaning, and the song a whole new soul. I almost always love the Stories rendition of every song they cover, but DAMN this one is so incredibly good. The instruments are very restrained yet somehow intimate, and Morgan's voice just absolutely shines. Watching the faces of the performers as they so clearly respond to one another is just icing on the cake.
This channel does a perfect job of finding the songs of our formative youths and performing them with such an intense sincerity that we are all just sitting in front of our phones crying for hours as we binge the Stories back catalogue.
My dream come true: Morgan is performing at the Musical Instrument Museum in Phoenix this June!!!! An amazing venue matched with an even more amazing talent. You can absolutely count on me being there!

I wish Molly had been given more of a chance to shine on this track, maybe with a melodic counterpoint on guitar? But then that's the mark of a true musician: knowing when to simply serve the song with a solid rhythm. Meanwhile when Morgan sings "when you give yourself away," she's literally giving little bits of her spirit to us viewers. Love it!

Molly is def a trip. She feels everything when she is playing. Must be a deep sense of who she is or that she is just that in touch with her feelings.
