The first time I discovered the hallelujah video I thought wow these guys are good! Then Kurt sang the last verse and I cried. I’ve never heard such an amazing sound come out of someone’s mouth!
Kurt really is amazing, but in my opinion this version is made awesome by ALL of them. They just go together so well, so smooth, so soft and yet oh so powerful. The harmonies are absolutely beautiful.
Kurt is quite possibly the most musical voice I have heard in 50 years of listening to music, the first few times I heard him sing he had me crying, even now his voice chokes me up, I am not even sure what he is doing that stands out so much but my ears worship that mans voice, no wonder he won world idol, and no natural good looks to fall back on either, when he smiles as he is singing the joy transmits directly to me.

This was the absolute BEST version of this song I have ever heard, most impressive to me was the variety of the vocals and the harmony w/the full spectrum of range of their voices was awesome! I also really liked the acoustic arrangement! I am not @ all a U2 fan. This song probably explains why for me! I'd like to hear these guys sing while U2 plays the original full instruments like the Live Concert in Boston.
