Kemal & Rob Data (Konflict) were wayyy Fkn ahead of the times! I got this 2sided set several years ago and still bump it everyday single day as if it were brand new! Wish they still produced tracks, peace.
Beckoning was insane for when it came out. They only got more techy/acid drenched as time went by as well. It's the scottish touch. hardcore and gabba have always been really big up in the north (still are) also a huge acid influence in their sounds from even earlier raving.
It sounded this way because it was from scotland, this sound would not have came out of london, couldn't have done IMO.

Agreed. Late 90's/Early 00's tech step was insane! Miss this era so much... especially Sketch & Code/ Rascal & Klone/ Older Renegade Hardware, Bad Company shit, etc.

Top notch classic...Way ahead of their time. Bangers in the club then and would be now. I was privileged to see their 1st n only US tour . Mind blowing. Wish they wouldn't have stopped but respect why they did.
siiick mang,....yah I almost got to see them I was at a club in Miami and the fuckin club got raided right before they got up..never got to see them play...sooo pissed till this day hahaha...Konflict is the sickest to ever do it!!!!
Was at this party at the Opera House on Queen Street. One of the most highly energetic sets I’ve ever witnessed live.

This is my favourite DnB mix of all time.
The Body Rock (6/8) -> Possession is cute. Then bringing in the intro from The Leader into both sections of Possession and banging the breakdown in perfectly is DJ skills of the highest order.

I remember my friends mixed those vinyls that days and when my soul went wrong, I stepped in front of Westax turntables in one of our apartments and when the mix were made just right, my broken mood went away in miliseconds, then only heaven and happiness.
