Great video footage when the weather was okay. I have the Wolfang GA200 and thought the video had switched itself off after 15 seconds! Similar weather today out on my bike. I bought the Tiger 1040 when it came out, looked smart in black and gold but I didn't like it (the engine, felt top heavy) and sold it after a few months. Which microphone did you use? Can't seem to get one that works with my GA200. Take care and ride safe.
Agreed @pommiegranite464, it's great in the daylight and very capable at night. I sold the 1050 and now have a 1200 Explorer. Love the 1200 but miss my 1050 too. I used the external mic that comes with the GA420, which is still working really well after a year. Ride safe.
Thought about getting a dead cat for mine but they look to big because the microphone on this device is in between the two buttons on top but I guess it could be cut down and retrofitted
Hi @danleeadventures, sorry about the delay; only just seen this message. I used the dead cat on the external mic that comes with it. Seems to work really well.
What resolution and frame rate did you record this footage in? Looks quite decent, my footage looks slightly blurry and soft compared to yours and its the same camera
I'm using ga420 for motovlog? Do you have any advice you can give me? What settings do you use? evening shooting is not very successful as if there is a lot of distortion
I'm a fan. I can't bring myself to spend the big money on GP given all I've heard about reliability. With the external mic, wind noise reduction switched on, and image stabilisation, the Wolfang seems to be doing the job for me. I bought the Amazon accidental insurance for it for ~£9 for three years so hopefully that'll help if anything goes wrong.
Love the Cockney and West Country accents Dude.
