Does the frame polish affect the disc brakes at all? I would think you'd get contamination of the pads spraying it on like that.

The colourway doesn’t do anything for me personally but that’s fine obviously, it’s a very subjective/personal thing or we’d all be walking/driving around in the same exact colour clothes, cars etc, and I can appreciate the labour and craftsmanship in the custom paint regardless 👌

Direct spraying of polish while the rotor is mounted may cause brake noise. It also contaminates the rotor and pads.. A very disappointing finish in a beautiful job..

I'm surprised you didn't wrap the bar tape from the top down, as most builders are doing on those particular handlebars for a cleaner look.

If you're swapping cable housings, you'd need to undo the entire wrap instead of only the top half, wasting some time.

The frame polish should be done before assembling. Foren shure not ideal for brake rotors.

As you're working on the bike, it's bound to get fingerprints here and there. You might as well do it right before you're done with the build.
Besides, who says spraying it directly onto the frame is the only way to polish a bike?
