If you know Ric Flair's feelings about hardcore wrestling, then you know what I know. He meant every word he said to Mick Foley.
Ric Flair had some of the best promos of his entire career in TNA. It’s rarely discussed and it should be.
Jay lethal came out saying Flair wouldn’t allow anyone to write his promos and it shows.. even more impressive considering how caged his promos at wwe were. You right
Like with Jay lethal
If this is one of his best he shouldn't be allowed near a mic.
Foley the most unappreciated and devoted.. he deserves a billion for the blood he shed to contribute to the growth of this business
The real life heat between Foley and flair really shines through here
Harley Wells there is not heat. It called doing their job.
Actually at the time they really had heat with each other.
Michael Cookston oh yes they did have real heat because Ric Flair called foley just a glorified stuntman not a wrestler and basically talked down to Foley
The time for this heat was during the time both were in WWE. It was a fateful plane ride during that time that actually made them bond. This was pure passion for the business.
marcus Glass Well Ric was just honest with Mick I mean Mick's most famous career moments most of them really has nothing with actual wrestling skill but more what a glorified stuntman.
Emotions were always missing in wrestling imo. Sometimes it goes overboard but this was great. Glad to see Foley back.
5:12 Jeff Jarrett is thinking, "What the hell is this?"
I think he is counting his own concussions
Best TNA moment I've ever seen! I wouldn't be surprised if it was all real words and opinions between Flair and Foley.
THE SOLUTION IS KISSING MY ASS !
I laughed so hard
Unpopular opinion..... Flairs tna run was my fav flair run. And i grew up in the 80s
"When I die, it'll be here or ontop of a wild woman"
Gianni Anfit biggest ride,longest line.
Ric's blood vessels must be made of the toughest material on Earth.
ON TOP OF A WILD WOMAN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!. Good to see that even in retirement, Flair still finds time to ride Space Mountain.
Ric goes crazy to keep the world sane. Respect.
Ric Flair: 'When I die it'll be here or on top of a wild woman!"
Me: Perfect situations for Flair to be in when his time comes. He is a wrestling icon.
i bet he regrets saying that now
SilverZombie44 lol 😂
SilverZombie44 nature boy is a American icon.
He'd combine them if he could
He sexually assaulted a stewardess.
The good old days of tna
Ric Flair went insane in TNA and I loved it!
what ric flair said may be true but ric flair has had plenty of thumbtacks in his back he's been busted open almost everywhere match during the 2000's i mean frl😂
4:56 I really, really, LOVE this line.
Classic
damn TNA had some talent in those days
Flair is one of the all time greats. Foley will always be the Hardcore Legend. HAVE A NICE DAY!!!
Eric Bishoff's promo ability is underrated
JHollman JHollman
Great segment. Good to see Foley and Flair
You guys need to add more content to your streaming service I wanna see the rest of 2008 and also 2009 through 2015 some of those years was some of the best
What an amazing segment!
Ric Flair: "When I die it will be here or on top of a wild woman"
that son of a gun.. haha
When wrestling gets real.
I just had a WCW moment. Goodbye Bischoff.
you know what i like about TNA segments and storylines??? they always use real conflicts or disagreements between people like bischoff and foley to raise the emotion of the storyline
This segment had a large amount of truth and believability...I don't like to see them wrestle, but Foley and Flair are still great on the microphones...If you could take Flair's current mic abilities and pair that up with the ability of a AJ, you'd have the total package.
Aj can promo
He just don't get the push anymore because he's older and he's showing these young guys how it's done hey.
Aj still does a new move every match...
God Flair is so passionate.
Damn mate i feel that this was more then business its personal between these guys
I think at the time it was!
Damn good promo from mick and RIC two of the greatest of all time
Flair was terrible here.
RIC really has a point you can see the passion for the business & also agree with Eric on this
Eric said now that no ones buying your books lmfao!!
TopSlimeSam To
P
Back when TNA was actually worth watching
This is surprisingly good for 2010 TNA... Wow...
Foley is magic on the mic
i met matt morgan at a tna live event meet n greet...hes a big dude in person
Ric Flair blaming Mick Foley for starting hardcore wrestling, he obviously never seen some of the bloodbaths of Japanese wrestling that occurred before Mick Foley's career even started. Plus wasn't it Ric Flair who was known as the dirtiest player in Wrestling for like decades? He did many things in his career that hardly constitute as wrestling. And the reason people aren't buying Mick Foley's books is because the majority of wrestling fans already own them.
DarkSektori Darksektori
Well, Mick Foley was in on these Japanese hardcore matches. Mick is the reason hardcore wrestling got popular outside of Japan.
. . . And Lets Not Forget Abdullah,
Carlos Colón And
The Original Sheik Were Old Masters
Of Hardcore Before
Mick Foley Even
Learned How To
Wrestle! Flair Is A
Washed Up Husk
Of What He Used To
Be And He Was Never
That Much To Begin With!
@@dimitrios1798 Ha!
Watch Bloody Matches From The Caribbean!
Hardcore Started In Puerto Rico In The 1970s! Ask Abdullah The Butcher, Stan Hansen, The Original Sheik, Etc. Etc. Etc.
3:01 RIC FLAIR: You're the one that raised the bar so high, that kids are jumping off roofs, breaking their necks! You're the reason kids are stepping on nails, rolling around in glass! The whole business suffered because of what you did!
Flair and Foley enter the ring. They start arguing about extreme wrestling. XD
"You're the reason kids are in hospitals!" Lol
Foley is a hardcore ledgend what do ya grt when ya take the hardcore away just a ledgend correct. He put his bodey on the line like no other and you call him the problem this mans no problem he is just doing what he loves
TNA HAD ALOT OF GREAT AND GOOD TALENT
Who's Marcc whosmarcc
Mick Foley isn't the reason why kids are getting hurt, it's choices these kids are making
Now it's choices parents are making or lacking to make
This was a really good segment...shame the crowd wasn't into it at all.
What all Ric Flair said was actually true
God!! double teamed & Eric Bishoff killed him with " Now hit my freakin music!"
Ric Flair with Truth Bombs!
3:00 I kind of agree with what Ric Flair said

From the 1980s to 1999 Foley was a good worker. There were no "stunts" in countless house shows and Raws and Smackdowns and Foley held his own in all sorts of storylines with all kinds of wrestlers, even being able to change personas.
As far as the "stunts" go, those were saved mainly for Pay Per View or important matches. Every wrestler tries to steal the show on the big cards. Foley was just more creative and branded himself as "hardcore" so we remember his bumps more, meanwhile all kinds of wrestlers have been doing so-called stunts on pay per views for years.
Flair claims that all the wrestlers suffered trying to reach the bar that Foley set, but that's total bullshit. Most of the other wrestlers stayed true to their gimmicks and Foley had little effect on how Jericho, Angle, Cena and the next batch of stars went about their business. Name me one successful hardcore wrestler that "followed in Foley's footsteps"....? There's your answer. As far as Flair goes, he should look in the mirror. What really hurt wrestlers wasn't what Foley did, but the culture that guys like Flair helped to perpetuate.... drinking, partying, popping pills. How many wrestlers died through drugs and alcohol? Too many to count. How many died from getting thrown off a cage to copy Foley? Zero.
I appreciate this perspective.
This is a great promo.
GAStayPosi GAStayposi
Would have been if Flair would have shut up.
Flair is also being a hypocrite here. Many wrestlers today were wrestling fans, and a number of them wanted to be like Flair. Have they been hurt by imitating him? Yes. Has Foley advised people not to do his stunts at home or in the ring? Yes. Has Flair? No. I'm writing this because this segment is obviously not all kayfabe - there is real anger here, especially on Flair's side.
Did Abyss and Mick ever wrestle? If not damn that woulda been a hell of a match
What a talent pool in that ring
Terry should have walked in and shut them both down 🎉🎉
Nice to see im again
whatever flair said was 100% true. He left foley speechless.
This was great!
There's a difference mick took legit bumps to bleed ric did blade jobs to bleed mick a legend as is ric but flair is sounding just like Jerry Lawler during his hate for hayman and ecw in 96-97
HARDCORE LEGEND IS BACK!!
Welcome back!!!!!!!!
I've that channel has a Spike TV on Shaw, MAG cable television box.
Rob terry mistakes - 0.25 makes bischoff drop mic, 2.42 - not in time to hold rics jacket
this was pretty much a shoot. you could even tell Foley was wrecked mentally at the end of it.
Welcome back Foley! BANG BANG!
Why was this the only vid without that advertisement about concussions?
Matt Morgan should've been Champion in 2011, but they didn't have the guts to pull the switch with him, I loved Matt Morgan.
this is really good...
Whoooooooo!!!!!!
id like to see foley an bisoff go at it !
I like Matt Morgan, hes Cool
4:55 "WHEN I DIE...!!!"
good promo
Ric Flair the g.o.a.t in this segment
Plus I love the fact that everything Eric Bischoff said about Foley was true, lol.
@TakerRules95, Okay first of all, TNA is not owned by Time Warner. They were the ones who wanted to get rid of WCW forever.
Jeff Jarrett owns TNA and he would deny Vince Mcmahon's offer to buy TNA
aJ sitting on the corner just chilling
I thought Ric's brain was gonna pop!!!
i actually like what Foly did
sweet! :) BANG! BANG!
Your first official job is to hold this.
@Nhovenghast I totally agree. : D
Ok Pissoff made a point here
Oldest living American Ric flair 15 world championship guy
they tried to make morgan big time and he did not do squat.
Chris Benoit will be at TNA this week!
That's stupid lol
Who ever criticizes Mic 4 this , is ignorant. Finaly some1 comes out 2speak about this .This does'nt make Mic a whimp, it makes him human. People think that just cause wrestling is rehearsed it does'nt hurt.I know that people hate Benoit 4 what he did.I know what he did was terrible. But now more & more science is shining the light on mental illness & concussions.Mic talked in an interview about how when he fought the Undertaker in the cell match, he could not remember even using the THUMB TACKS
Ric Flair: The solution is kiss my ass
yo flair can still give a great rap!! lol
don king donking
I love Eric bishoff lol
I witnessed the history between nick foley and tic flair not only in tan but also in wwe. I’m very impressed that mick foley isn’t dead. He should be a hardcore legends like sabu, ryhno, and others. Mick and ric is my inspiration for me a future wrestler soon in impact. Wwe I’m sorry your company is going down hill.
they work for tna. what is tna?

Leave the WWE bubble, kid...
@attitudedude78 you must of missed impact last week if so i'll tell you what happened kaz try convince to join immortal but terry said no later in the night he helped hardy and kaz beat anderson and morgan turning him heel
Yes I have to agree with the most of it. Before my first match the night before making sure I had everthing down right I did one elbow off the top rope too many. I broke my wrist. It's very easy having to move that fast in a 20 x 20 erea to get hurt. I watched as a partner did a back flip to the outside and land on the back of his head. The more these kids think it's fake they think they can do all this and not get hurt the more they will. They need to learn you can get killed in that ring
When ever he drops the dying on top of a women line you can literally see them all trying not to laugh
"size 18 straight DOWN your ass" Matt Morgan was god awful
Flair got him there
Jesus you can tell Flair was just going. Someone needed to turn off his mic.
@InsaneMindMrBizzare agree
