I use a LARGE propane tipped torch (not the little one on most torches) but you have to keep it constantly moving so it doesn't burn. Works great... been doing it for years on big and small PVC pipes.
I love it. But at $300, I just don't see it in my toolbox because this probably would be a "nice to have tool" but I really don't see myself using it all the time around my garage.
So true can't do that work easily with a heat gun would take for ever and will look like crap not to mention how many burns later however that's awesome I am interested got a project lined up for such a tool tell me were you got it so I can get me one Thanks for sharing this juicer morsial
You can't bend ends well using sand. An expanding heated spring prevents collapse and allows ends to be curved. This method is very similar to heated, expanded springs.
Hey if you take a heat gun and make a trough out of some wood then cover it with metal tape then put you’re PVC pipe and it heat up it will only take about a minute and it works great
Hans de Groot yep you can heat up sand in a pan then pour it into the pipe or you can make a trough out of wood and ducting tape then use a heat gun to heat it up
Hi, great review, have you tried to bend PVC with solar vaccume tubes? It great because the temperature won't let the PVC to burn (no toxic fumes), and is from free energy!! The cons are is that in cloudy days, the temperature is barely enough to bend PVC, and the only wides that are possible to bend are 1/2 inch and 3/4 inch. I will upload the video about it, in my channel, it's in spanish, but as soon as I translate it, I'll upload the english version. Congratulations! regards
Wow. The "bend station" is just pipe insulation; a standard junction box; some steel braid insulation; and another $20 or $25 worth of off the shelf stuff! Wonder what they're charging? $300?!??? Lol! There's 1 born every minute I guess.
Can You Give A Better Or More Info. On How To Make This Tool? I Would Love Making Things With PVC Pipe Like Dog And Cat Houses, Green Houses Just About Anything That Comes To Mind. Thanks.
Hey Rooky, the cost is due to the CSA certificate. Using electrical devices without the CSA rating voids your insurance. Plus if you are doing 20 of these bends every month it is worth it.
Hi so if you don't kink it is there any loss of strength to the pvc? I did some bending with a heat gun and later it cracked . Thanks for posting .warren
Wow this is so cool! So could you do a project using these, because I can't come up with anything to use this for. I'm sure you could come up with some great ideas:). Also, since it's back to school season, could you do a back to school related video if you get a chance? Thank you:) another great video :))
Time to bend is from a PREHEATED state. I think 1/2" or 1/4" copper pipe with many holes drilled into it and a heat gun adapted to it is less expensive. At least it's worth a try.
Dunno if you guys cares but if you are stoned like me during the covid times you can watch all the latest series on instaflixxer. Have been binge watching with my girlfriend for the last months xD
Specific Love Creations You could use 1/2 " schdl. 40 bent for one set of horse shoes and filled with sand for weight, then capped on both ends. Then try the grey pvc conduit for the second set. Use 1" Schdl. 80 capped on one end and cut at a 60° angle on the other for the posts.
There are seven different models of the PVC Bendit. All can be used to bend 4" pvc schedule 40 but you will need to have some additional materials. Please take a look at the RUclips video "How to bend clear schedule 40 pvc pipe"
What if someone doesn't have the money to buy this PVC heater? Can this person still bend the PVC tube? Yes, use heat up sand, you still can do the same job.

Thanks for this. I just ordered one and hope it works as wells as you show here. We have a small shop so using sand or a torch is out of the question.
You can use PVC to make an outside working table. That could be a nice project.
Great review my husband will love this 🤗 thank you for sharing have a blessed day
You are very welcome
I love it. But at $300, I just don't see it in my toolbox because this probably would be a "nice to have tool" but I really don't see myself using it all the time around my garage.
This is really great...no need for all those elbows and 'T's', etc. fittings! Thanks for the demonstration! : )
You are very welcome
That’s true , cud be a money saver in the bling run
That's awesome! This will be awesome for conduit when running low voltage wire!
Very true

$300.00 something for tool but worth it if project needs custom bent pvc. Thank you for sharing.
It ain’t worth it
Interesting, can't wait to see what you make now with bended PVC.
+cyberi4a I have a few ideas I hope to work on soon.
Thanks a lot. I'm probably going to purchase this item.
That heated PVC will kink easily if you're not careful. Sand filling is better.

+TheLightHouseLady Thank you
Great presentation,I used a heat gun but the results were not like this special tool.Thanks.
Great videos and project ideas
+JetEx, Inc. Thanks
Nice
WOW! It sure is expensive. I think I'll stick with the "hot sand" idea. YIKES! I can't afford this thing, but I sure wish I could. UGH.
Good review of probably a good product. Only "a little bit expensive. I think somebody clever can make it for less than one tenth of this price.

That is wild to how it gets to be like a garden hose in the way it bends that easily!
The smile in amazement on my face was real, I did not think it would be that easy.
I see a cool raft/table top hanging up, if you only knew of some material to make clamp on legs out of..... That is an interesting device to be sure
+Doc Ink Thank you
great review thank you

In the short term, the pipe still feels strong. But like any plastic that has been heated, it can become fragile over time.
How do you maintain the shape without collapsing the tubes diameter, being theirs nothing inside to prevent it?
Cool !!
I heard of filling the PVC pipe with Sand, use end caps and then heat slowly as you bend
Even easier is Boiling water.
Wow this is so cool! So could you do a project using these, because I can't come up with anything to use this for. I'm sure you could come up with some great ideas:). Also, since it's back to school season, could you do a back to school related video if you get a chance?

+My Pawfect Family I am currently working on some ideas that hope to release in a couple of weeks.
As for the back to school, that is a maybe.
That's great !!
Thanks
Can it be use on PPR pipes? Or its only for PVC .
$300!?!??! You could make one with heat tape and flex-conduit for much less. Just sayin'...
poindeml go ahead then...
CrankyPants I will
All you have to do is heat some sand up in a pan, put a piece of tape over the end, and use a funnel to pour in the hot sand.
poindeml
Can You Give Me An Idea On How To Build Something That Will Do This? I Have Projects In Mind All Ready. But No Heating Tool. Thanks

You defined the laws of physics
TIP,, YOU CAN USE BOILING WATER ,,JUST PUT THE WATER INSIDE OF PIPE.
Wow that is cool !!! Have an idea for you. How about a PVC horse shoe set bet that would be fun. Thanks.
+henrycems I just might do that, thanks

$300, you can buy a lot of play sand for that... and the sand will also keep the pvc from collapsing on itself....
Yeah just put the sand in the oven cap the pvc pour it in after it’s hot and boom ezpz
i was thinking the exact same thing-- unless you are doing this for a business or using every day the $300 is a hard pill to swallow.
Can you bend 2" pvc?
sand and a heat gun works too
Thank you 😂🤣
Can you build a lawn chair out of PVC now that you have a PVC Bendit with you please
+Kijeshi Style maybe
This PVC bender named "Bendit PVC" is on sale nowhere on the internet.
Heated sand is much cheaper and faster!

+George Lenz Most useful tools can cost high. That is why I waited to make sure it worked before letting everyone know.

Plus no flat sections
how about thick PVC bending?
Cool thing but expensive.
Andy Kaufman is alive.
300 dollars for this contraption is pretty ridiculous.
How about combination of PVC and Metal
Its kind of pricey at $299. Does the PVC Bend-It have a temperature regulator?
As far as I can tell, it only has one temperature which is set just for PVC.
What if someone doesn't have the money to buy this PVC heater? Can this person still bend the PVC tube? Yes, use heat up sand, you still can do the same job.
Boiling water is even a easier.
Take it apart in next video. We want to see the insides. To make it are self. Save some doe.
Step one, buy a pvc bendit
+LittleBrownPirate I have tried several other ways and this is the fastest and easiest way to do it.
$300!!!!!!!!!! No way
PVC Bendit, Is That The Name Of The Tool?
Hot sand works better... By far
Make a boomerang pvc
