All those other tow hitch build videos out there make me nervous, this is proper rigging my friend, solid work. I'm looking into those vibration isolators but also thinking of just building it on my own, would you recommend the isolation plate you're using?
fantastic humor. You should make a tutorial for other tutorial channels to add humor to their tutorials... Also Nice fab work.
I hate to say this, but that vibration mount isn't designed to be inverted / underslung like that, just FYI. Those are meant to flex underneath the weight of your camera rig, or at a 90 degree angle. While it might help a tiny bit underslung, you're definitely not getting too much out of it, hence why you footage had vibration. Proaim and rigwheels both make vibration dampeners for underslinging your rig. Rigwheels calls theirs the slingshot... it's definitely a different piece of hardware.
I know because I have made the same mistake.

great idea and design, your content is high quality (visually and informational) just 2 questions if you have the time:
1- wont it help with vibration if you jam a rubber/foam material layer everywhere 2 metal parts are joint ?
2- where can i get/ how can i build a similar base plate (the one with 4 wire-like springs)?
