So I looked on Wallace and gromit wiki and in one of the video games there's a lawn mower on their lawn that looks like the outer Hull of the techno trousers. That seems to indicate that they eventually got a hold of them but then took them apart and made them into an AI lawnmower (not unlike a Roomba vacuum cleaner)
The Techno Trousers probably walked all the way to the Atlantic Ocean and then got all rusty! lol.
I always thought that they forgot to confiscate the remote from feathers and that he was trying to use them to bail him out of prison.
