I wanted to build my own putter, but RUclips was definitely lacking in DIY videos. Mostly wooden putters, and companies showcasing their CNC products. So I decided to build my own, and make a video! I'm no videographer but, I think it represents the basic how to pretty well. This is actually my 2nd attempt. I messed up the first one pretty bad, so I went with a basic shaped head.
Any questions at all feel free to ask!!

Thanks so much! Im just starting out so my video quality and skills are very lacking but I plan to get much better! Will be hopefully posting a new Golf Bag unboxing video, along with possible club restorations. Have to wait until May or so but I will also be posting golf videos with tracers. My goal is to use RUclips to video my Golf journey, so I can track my performance, and hopefully get some tips along the way to better my game!

It's fun, I just wish I could do more with building my own. Not much you can do really without a good mill. But in the future I might attempt another, a little more complex design.

Finally decided to make my own out of stainless
Absolute PITA it so bloody hard. I used an angle grinder with a cut off blade a stainless steel flap wheel in the grinder and a bench grinder with attached belt sander. Took me about 3 days. I opted to get a bent offset shaft so that I could just drill a hole on the pilar drill and glue the shaft in.
As it turned out the shaft is a tight fit even before I've glued it so I have had a couple of test putts and made some more adjustments before I glue it up and cut the shaft down is about 4 inches too long. . But from my initial test putts with the head not glued in it feels pretty bloody good, even if I do say so myself.
What I'll end up doing is do some final finishing and polish some parts and refinish the face on my freind linisher so it has a grained effect.
But i'm looking forward to gluing it all up fitting a grip and taking it down the practice green to try it out properly.
