I actually didn't expect Gaz to die in this scene, when I woke up I thought Gaz would survive when I saw him on the ground but when Imran shot him in the head I was so disappointed and sad. Such a good character died so easily 😭
That’s literally the og trilogy it showed that even the best soldier and most fan favourite characters can easily die at war Remember that in the end out of all the SAS/141 members only price survived (without counting Nikolai or Mac Milan )
Actually, this version seems more realistic in that moment. In the OG, Imran has already turned around before Soap points at him. Why he didn't pull his gun faster, then? In this remake, he turns around AND pulls his gun at the same time, which makes more sense. This is just my opinion, though, you may prefer either scene.
And then, right after CoD Black Ops Cold War released, Imran Zakhaev's death suddenly became shrouded in mystery as there is a new article about Zakhaev's death.

Call of Duty / Modern Warfare series has had great storylines, and has set the bar too high for any similar games, maybe with the exception of Medal of Honor 2010. But you gotta give props to the story writers of this game here. They literally could make a movie about this game, and the game would still be better.
