Makarov is truly the BEST! He achieved all of his goals and when Price killed him it was too late to change anything for the better. Gabriel Rorke is another villain who actually wins as per the only ending. Menendez was OK too, but he lacked the ability to finish the job, couldn't simply pull the trigger like Makarov always did.

I do kind of love the fact that there is no main antagonist (except for maybe Heinrich Amsel) in World at War. Like, you aren’t fighting against one main villain guy, you are just fighting to end the German Reich/defeat the Imperial Japanese Army. Just my thoughts though.

Cold War's True Good ending was the greatest end to a Call of Duty Campaign. Cold War is about sacrifice, tragedy, betrayal, loyalty, and selflessness. In the good ending, you save millions of lives at the cost of your own life. In the evil ending, you survive and end the lives of millions needlessly. It's disturbing how many people chose to be evil and say it was the best choice.
If you choose the "good" ending, you will let the usa taking power, while if you choose the "bad" ending, you will let millions die (remember that those bombs were actually made by the Americans) but you will also let to the dissolution of NATO and possibly a world coalition against America.
No, Adler isn't evil, he is a good guy who use his people and treats them like a tool because this is how good side works, you can be respected only when you are evil, also you have free will then, evil is a freedom and strengh.

Makarov takes one for me. You spend 3 games hunting him. You dont know that the whole time. But it was a long series leading to his hopeful death. When we finally catch him, because of him every character except Price and Nikolai have bern been killed. You fight him then when you end the fight, he just hangs there then silence. It was a strong silence because of all the action from each game leading here and it was the end if the series. Good times, I miss this era of cod.
i really really enjoyed cold war. and what i think would have made it better was establishing a better background for Bell. Would have loved to see how his relationship with Perseus was up until being betrayed by that man in the 1980s outfit and sunglasses, lol. though if it was like that im sure the ending would have been way more predictable. still i wouldve loved to see more of Bell's background.

Makarov takes one for me. You spend 3 games hunting him. You dont know that the whole time. But it was a long series leading to his hopeful death. When we finally catch him, because of him every character except Price and Nikolai have bern been killed. You fight him then when you end the fight, he just hangs there then silence. It was a strong silence because of all the action from each game leading here and it was the end if the series. Good times, I miss this era of cod.
