The creator of the video died in 2015. In his bio he says he's a radio guy in south Texas, and if you look into it, you can find articles talking about his death and remembering him. It coincides with when he stopped uploading too. What a shame, this was a really good piece.

As far as I know this music was never released commercially. A friend of mine in NYC and another friend of his were putting this stuff together as demo cuts back in the early 90's. This video I made and their music ran on a NYC cable tv show then. My NYC friend is kind of hard to reach at the moment, but I'll email him and ask..might be some old tapes around. JIM

Years ago when I first heard this I was sucked in by the hypnotic rythms and the surreal visual style. If someone was to duplicate this feel with the commodore graphics styling, the couplet or prose poetry and the eerie post-rock music style; it would have its detractors, but it would create a cult following.

That would also mean there are black holes in that jar, which would slowly expand and kill you.

Linklgas the black hole would be so small, it probably would decay in a few seconds of our time. The entire galaxy would only last seconds, a beautiful spark that fades back into the black nothingness it came from. The black hole would be the last something in a space of eternal nothing, in a last spectacular explosion this too would end.

Came here from Ethereal Snake's playlist of inspirations. This is amazing work, a beautiful mix of sound and visuals. I hope it continues to inspire other artists to do their craft before the inevitable grace of death. Keep your memory alive somehow, take this as a sign to love your art and always challenge yourself new ways to combine what is already around us and make something new and fresh. Creative new ways to express yourself, and get your message across. The world deserves our art.

@darkfalken42 I've heard about emulators.. but don't know anything about them or what's needed to set them up.. I have a lot of old Amiga pgms. that I'd like to run again, but my old 500 is in need of a boot floppy drive to work again. I've still have an external drive for it that maybe I could take apart and install internally, I don't know. I have all the original anims on Amiga floppy that would be nice to transfer over in a good quality digital cam....Maybe someday.

This masterpiece, this work of art could have a legacy that remains a mystery considering the maker of the animation has since passed away, as well as one of the two musicians who recorded this track. It would be interesting to attempt to contact possible family or friends to discover if more recordings exist, if more animations exist. The amount of work that went into creating this should not be forgotten. I am enamored by this wonderful piece of art.
