Gaijin should add a 2500 spawn point Lancaster just for 38th parallel that carries the bouncing dam destroying bomb, and when someone spawns in with it with their 2500 spawn points, the water completely drowns the map and all of the players, ending the game very similarly to the nuke. Would be cool

The fact that I can test drive any vehicle in game by using WT Wiki is extremely important and usefull - often there are enemies I don't know how to fight because they simply don't exist in WT client research tree.

Question, Trainman - is there a pattern to which the 0-10-0 belongs? Does that designation refer to an attribute of the locomotive? Ty muchly

@@A407RAC since train man did not respond to you, I figured I would give it a shot. The designation does indeed relate to an attribute of the locomotive. Whenever you see numbers in a arranged in that format with steam locomotives, it refers to the arrangement of the wheels. For example, 2-4-2, this means there are 2 wheels in front, one on each side, then 4 driving wheels (2 per side) which are driven by the steam from the boiler, then 2 wheels after the driving wheels. By this logic you can identify the layout of the locomotive by a simple set of numbers. 0-10-0 is a locomotive with no wheels in front or behind of the driving wheels and there are 5 driving wheels per side.

@@A407RAC its pattern of the Wheel Arrangement. For example that Class E Locomotives, it got 5 drive wheels (Wheels directly connected to the axle). Since train have two set wheels, then times it 2 and you got X-10-X locomotives. The more driver wheels means the train have bigger power. One of the strongest locomotives ever made is Big Boy, with realtively huge set of wheels, 4-8-8-4 (4 front neutral wheels, 4 set of driver wheels (each have 4, so total have 16), and 4 back neutral wheels). Sorry for late response.
you can rapid fire ATGMs whilst on an allied capture point because their resupply time is alot faster than their reload time. I know this is true for Warrior and Ratel 20, not sure about others.

Well Stalin was a pseudonym so it is possible the Stalin of war thunder lore is different from the Stalin of irl, so the picture 100% confirms that irl Stalin is canon in war thunder

I will say, bomb skipping is incredibly useful in naval, as often I don’t have time to drop it perfectly, so I come in fast off the deck and drop a bomb and let it skip into the side of a ship while I pull off. Saves time and can actually save your plane.
Just use torpedoes in that case xd
@@marnixkloppenburg9482 you can carry much less torpedoes than 100kg bombs, and most planes don’t even have the option to equip torpedoes.

Do i need to set an fuse time for them to skip ? My bombs always explode no matter the conditions
@@rocket2739 I set mine to a 1.5 second timer, it's generally good enough for the bomb to hit the side of the ship and drop to the waterline, ideally detonating ammo when it explodes. it can be iffy for bombs below 250kg, I find 500kg bombs give the best result. I use the Me410 at 4.0 with the 2x500kgs in individual drops. One is good for a DD and most cruisers if you hit the ammo, larger ships might need both.
That Steam tip is actually pretty important. Wish I knew that before.

I can't remember if it was said in another video but a lot of people dont know that you can mark where you are looking for squad mates. You go into Controls > common, and in there you will be able to set a key to "set target for squad" and it is extremely useful as it can be more accurate that scouting but is only visible for squadmates
this is also useful for pinging the exact location of an enemy or calling artillery
This wouldn't fit in this video because that is actually useful knowledge.
But most warthunder player is playing the game like solo game
@@_invencible_ it can also use to caculate the distance between enemy, i use it before in the type 75 spg and score a kill at 1700 meter at the desert map

Regarding the AVRE's repair ability, I would also like to add that, despite being classified as TD, the Type 60 ATM can also help repair allies, as well as mark enemies.

Class 3 (P) had the modifications too, yet it couldn't use them. Now it's a light tank too.
There's more SPGs with this feature, like Type 60 SPRG(C), M56, M50, ASU-57, ASU-85, ...
Even some top tier SPAAs like Stormer, Type 93, the big trucks ... every SAM only SPAA, it seems.

4:04 the P-47 also has one, they're probably landing lights to project the area ahead and ensure a safe landing. Pretty sure a couple other aircraft have them too!
I just wish Gaijin would let us use them to fight in the clouds.

Helis have retractable landing lights too but i think only those on the Ka50 actually retract because they are coupled to landing gear controls.
There also other features coupled to the landing gear e.g the Antenna on the M.S.405/406/410 or D.520, the ventral fin of the Mig-23 and the Radar system on the Shackleton.
Some Bombers even have retractable Gunner stations.
Some Spitfires has these too.

I actually won a Squadron battle match once by landing my spitfire on a cap zone, stopping the ticket bleed and allowing my teammate to hunt down the last player.
So that one is a real useful knowledge, shame on you for calling almost useful!
That's pretty cool, i did the same with a fw190 but my team was so fu*in useless that another guy just killed me and capped it again
it called almosst useful because it hard to apply in the game

@@Appletank8 It's hard, but works. Bottom tier helicopters are probably the best for it. They're low enough BR to escape the guided missile hell, but high enough BR where games might actually be super close. I've had a super clutch zone capture in my AH-1 more than once. Low and high BRs always seem to be a total wash for one team.
If you look through pretty much every city map, Berlin, Sweden, Normandy, Maginot Line, every single clock that is posted around the city all stop dead at 3:00 pm.
6:13 I actually remember me and some other person doing that during squadron battles on Kuban. I was flying a Bearcat and did a touch and go on the point near the lake, then the other guy actually landed on the tank part of the map in Arado and drove to the point to capture it, it was so bloody funny

8:50 What actually happens is that the Fiat gets overpressured from its own heat shell, as the explosion from the enemy tank comes after (see turret for detail) the Fiat dies, not allowing the pressure build up, and the tank is stated to have died by Crew Knocked Out, another sign of overpressure, HEAT shells also easily overpressure, multiple of them contain a total of 1 kg of tnt, enough to kill a light vehicle. As a matter of fact, yes I can see that the shrapnel from the HEAT comes back into the Fiat, suggesting a self kill.
I remember when planes used to explode on hitting airfield runway even going so slow you almost stal if you forget landing gear

I remember bouncing a bomb while attacking a ship - I thought it was the only explanation, while very suspicious, as I hit a ship next to it even though I knew my bomb run was for the first ship
bouncing bombs has some cons like missing but one of the major pros in my opinion is since you are bouncing it it wont have to go through the decks and can just o strait into the magazine

Talking about smoke grenades doing damage years ago, I’m not sure how but I killed an ally spaa using the pz 3 smoke.
the info for the Centurion AVRE repair assist and the ammo cook off are actually useful as it lets you know you can save teammates with the centurion and avoid death with light tanks when doing combat at close range. Ok also the French CA Loraine is also capable of repair assist. (Edit: it appears they made it so most tanks can help with repairs now. they just have to be a similar vehicle that uses the same parts.)

Fun fact: There is a museum dedicated to Richard Ira 'Dick' Bong with a P-38 painted to look like Bong's from WW2 in Superior, WI. It is a great place and I recommend the 'Heavy Metal Tour' where you can get up close and personal with the aircraft

When it comes to warthunder, nothing is useless information
Biggest mistakes i see people make while dogfighting is going into the scissor maneuver whenever they cross up with another plane. You almost always want to go into a rolling scissor
Some of these are extremely useful, especially the clock. Long-time flights can take a lot of time and I often forget it's already 5am. That was my biggest issue with the harrier it does not have a clock.

SB2s (earliest soviet bomber) cannot belly land and will be counted as down and out.
Test driving every vehicle using the wiki is genius. Very usefull tip have been playing since pretty much the beginning and didn't know about this.
Except it doesn't work. The wiki just takes you to the vehicle's hanger "page" and if its not unlocked, no test ride for you.
You can spam with smoke grenades when you're in a cap point, while driving a puma. I used it to cover the whole point in smoke.

the "separate button for aircraft parking brake" wasn't "almost useful" back when the ho 229 came out. On berlin or norway, it was NECESSARY, in order to get a stock 229 of the ground with blowing up.
