The funny thing about the Stabilizer is that it's not implemented properly. It's a full 3 dimensional stabilizer, hence why the turret looks so wierd. Generally the turret will always be level while the hull moves under it. Even if at an angle like a hillside. Gaijin just didn't implement that function of the TURM
CAS is easy lol. Spawn in the air, look for a moving blob or some gunfire. Dive towards blob. Press spacebar when the ground looks scary. Target Destroyed. Dopamine Activated.

Maybe I'm a little masochist, but I liked the Mars15, I got awsome games with it, of course, that dosen't mean it's equal to the turmIII, TurmIII deserves at least a br change but I didnt find the Mars15 that bad
The three vehicles that I really hate going to 7.7; Turm III, T-55AM1, and the T-69. The vast majority of deaths for me besides CAS are these three vehicles tbh.

Just a personal suggustion, I love your low br videos and would encourage you to do more, I learn alot from your videos as a casual player but most of the observations you offer apply to the higher br vehicles, specifically getting to watch an experienced player breakdown where certain tanks are vulnerable is incredibly helpful and would just love to see more of that on the from the lower end of the game
If I don't remember completely wrong there was a change log mention somewhere about the HEAT. Basically just that it no longer actually detonate on the tiniest bush or branch, even though you get the hit camera(so that is basically a bug or just laziness).
I think the reasons this thing feels so good to use are that the responsiveness and mobility are amazing, as well as the fact that you never feel like you aren’t prepared for a situation because of the auto loader plus a 30mm that can deal with any light vehicle
8.0 matches are hell. Every game I get matched up with a team filled with TURM 3 teammates who rush and leave after one death. It's impossible to play at that BR.
Well, German mains aren't that bright enough to perform well even with meta vehicles. I love out flanking blind and deaf Turm 3 spammers and sideshooting them with my object.

When i was grinding 7.7 - 8.3 sweden, these things genuinely put the fear of god into me, if you know one is coming you can counter it, but if it catches you off guard or get a flank say goodbye to half of your team.

7:58 this happens in 3rd person. Basically, your gun is adjusting for parallax between the barrel and your reticule. Happens all the time, but is far more noticeable in oscillating turrets.
I've been noticing that with Heat lately as well. Detonates on bush but then still kills whatever is behind. On a side note, I find the APDS to be the better ammo, but I also haven't used the Heat in a long time.
Turm III, MBT-70... that was a weird era of over the top technological overreach. At least we got T-64 and Strv103 from it... and their maintenance history that had proven why slower and steadier is sometimes better. Reminds me of a late Cold War era of AN94/G11 for small arms that we only now get back into with same ideas making several loops and now coming back up again.
I regularly up tier this to around 9.7 and it does just ok, not very spectacular, but not useless either. If you compared it to the Leo 2K, you basically trade some of the firepower on the main gun, and put it on the 30mm coax. The 30mm and the 20mm of the Leo 2K have similar pen, but the HE filler in the 30mm is mental and if you can pen something it will likely be killed instantly, opposed to the APCR of the 20mm EDIT: I also hate how when you try to spray something with the 30mm, like a cannon barrel, you're basically blind firing because the muzzle flash of the auto cannon is visible when using sniper mode of the main gun

But yes better player awareness would certainly help, it's a shame that things like a buggy sound engine damper that (plus most players aren't as aware as they think they are, I know I'm half blind without thermals or good optics at least)

As a Swedish main at 7.7 BR, the Turm is my greatest enemy. Fast, with a great reload and a 30mm autocannon. Feels rough going against this thing in an IKV 91
Yeah the Turm is kinda busted at the moment. Also (day 2 asking) you should try the Japanese STA1/2/3/Type 61 (they're all kinda the same), decent mobility, good gun and great sight magnification makes them pretty fun to play.
Spookston, while watching you play tanks is really enjoyable, between the memes and commentary, I do miss the "if x tank was historically accurate" series.

it's the same 30mm autocannon that Falcon is armed with, though there is only one and it's without the APDS belt on Turm III, but I think the 105mm with a 5 second reload and a massive first-stage ammo rack for the autoloader makes up for it, and Falcon is at the same battle rating as Turm III.
You gotta play the JaPz. K A2, it gets APFSDS, a 4 second reload, a laser range finder, scouting, a scout drone and all that at 8.3! The only thing I'm missing is a stabilizer and a gun on top to fight off planes but for 8.3 it has a lot which makes it undertiered for 8.3, although you get mostly uptiers so that's balanced. And if armor isn't important for your play style, this is THE vehicle for you.

WHAT HALO SONG DID YOU CLIP AT 6:54 i stopped the video to look so i could listen to it but at this point i listen to so much halo music i cant remember what game its from. i thought it was ODST but then maybe reach and at this point my brain is soup. ODST has like the DNA of that little riff in it in a couple of tracks but i just cannot find the exact match. i know it isnt CE, 2, or 3. Pain.
I've also noticed that HEAT will detonate on objects but still travel to the target anyways. I hit a pole like 100m in front of me yesterday and it still killed a guy like 300m away.
Some objects can be passed through by HEAT now, though the impact effect LOOKS like it got fused by that object. Your shell really did just pass through and didn't fuse, but the game only has the one effect for HEAT impacts (the detonation like it got fused).
3:42 I can actually answer how that did no damage. The G6 has a unique bodyshape and internal armor that makes it so shooting the driver head on ensures only the driver takes damage. Shoot the turret, not the body.
I highly reccomend you play the M47 105/55 OTO, it's the italian version of the M47 but it's the only version with a 105mm canon instead of the normal 90mm. and keeps the same 7.3 br as the other versions
So for the shot at 7:06, I ***believe*** HEAT has been recently modeled to travel through light bushes and fences as of a few months ago. HOWEVER, the explosion effect on collision still appears to occur, leading to the visual marvel that is detonating visually on a bush and server side on not that Bush ( could be very tongue and this is just a visual bug also).
HEAT seems to have a visual bug or SOMETHING when it comes to detonating on trees/bushes/whatever, because I've had it detonate on trees and still manage to hit my intended target like 30 meters away.
You shold play the Chieftain Mk.3, it's a bit of an underdog at its BR since most things around it are about 10 years more advanced and have APFSDS but it can be pretty good when played right.
You can shoot through trees and bushes and concrete with heat at the moment. Not sure that’s intentional but it’s been busted for like 2-3 updates now.
This thing has essentially no weaknesses, light vehicles cant take advantage of its light armor because the 30mm shreds them violently, and heavier vehicles die to the autoloaded and stabilized 105
The whole HEAT/HE detonates but still hits has been happening for awhile, not sure if it's desync or w/e. I have experienced it multiple times with the Type 75 SPH.
My favorite tank in the game T-55A most of my deaths come from light vehicles with atgm, 2nd is planes (bomb or rocket) and third is Turm 3, yeah its OP

I think HEAT is a bit bugged. I've also prematurely detonated HEAT on a bush and had a piece of the HEAT jet travel 300m more just for it to one shot an is6. Don't think that's suppose to happen.
My friends and I have hit the ammo with HEAT and APHE so many times but they just don't detonate somehow. Of course, when they do die, they leave so half of the team they're on is missing which completely swings games.
If ammo racks are unlucky, hitting the opposite side of the turret works too. Two of the three crew are conveniently lined up opposite of the ammo rack.

You should play the Rooikat 105. Has no armour but is a fast wheelie boi with access to DM33 darts.

Going to mid/high tier games, you'd expect better, more experienced players, but instead, you encounter people who rage quit after dying once.
I love taking out the Type 87 RCV and just farming Turm 3's for XP, it is truly a great time.

They did change recently HEAT rounds detonating on bushed IIRC. You still see a visual bug of it explosion playing but the shell isnt destroyed

I've also noticed that HEAT will detonate on objects but still travel to the target anyways. I hit a pole like 100m in front of me yesterday and it still killed a guy like 300m away.
Some objects can be passed through by HEAT now, though the impact effect LOOKS like it got fused by that object. Your shell really did just pass through and didn't fuse, but the game only has the one effect for HEAT impacts (the detonation like it got fused).

3:42 I can actually answer how that did no damage. The G6 has a unique bodyshape and internal armor that makes it so shooting the driver head on ensures only the driver takes damage. Shoot the turret, not the body.

I highly reccomend you play the M47 105/55 OTO, it's the italian version of the M47 but it's the only version with a 105mm canon instead of the normal 90mm. and keeps the same 7.3 br as the other versions

So for the shot at 7:06, I ***believe*** HEAT has been recently modeled to travel through light bushes and fences as of a few months ago. HOWEVER, the explosion effect on collision still appears to occur, leading to the visual marvel that is detonating visually on a bush and server side on not that Bush ( could be very tongue and this is just a visual bug also).

Heat now pierces light stuff like bushes and chain link fences. I had it happen a few times so not sure if its a glitch or actual gameplay change.

HEAT seems to have a visual bug or SOMETHING when it comes to detonating on trees/bushes/whatever, because I've had it detonate on trees and still manage to hit my intended target like 30 meters away.

got my first ever nuke with the germany 8.3 lineup, using the gepard and turm 3 mainly, after only about a year of playing
You shold play the Chieftain Mk.3, it's a bit of an underdog at its BR since most things around it are about 10 years more advanced and have APFSDS but it can be pretty good when played right.
You can shoot through trees and bushes and concrete with heat at the moment. Not sure that’s intentional but it’s been busted for like 2-3 updates now.
This thing has essentially no weaknesses, light vehicles cant take advantage of its light armor because the 30mm shreds them violently, and heavier vehicles die to the autoloaded and stabilized 105
The whole HEAT/HE detonates but still hits has been happening for awhile, not sure if it's desync or w/e. I have experienced it multiple times with the Type 75 SPH.
My favorite tank in the game T-55A most of my deaths come from light vehicles with atgm, 2nd is planes (bomb or rocket) and third is Turm 3, yeah its OP
you see spookston, you are shooting tendem heat rounds, the first charge for the bush, the other for the tank
At 7:08 I think the chieftain shot the bush first which is why your HEAT didn't get stopped.

I think HEAT is a bit bugged. I've also prematurely detonated HEAT on a bush and had a piece of the HEAT jet travel 300m more just for it to one shot an is6. Don't think that's suppose to happen.
My friends and I have hit the ammo with HEAT and APHE so many times but they just don't detonate somehow.
Of course, when they do die, they leave so half of the team they're on is missing which completely swings games.
If ammo racks are unlucky, hitting the opposite side of the turret works too. Two of the three crew are conveniently lined up opposite of the ammo rack.
