Chubby is the best ever... one of the only comedians where you laugh *the whole time* you're listening to him.
Chubby is from my home town, he is an absolute gentleman off stage and he is all an act that is all… the fact that people are cancelling him up and down the country is just embarrassing really. People unable to recognise an act from reality, unable to recognise freedom of artistic expression and taken offence on everyone else’s behalf wanting him cancelled for everyone, they are the problem not chubby.
@Kal_UpTheBoro It's a liberty what the PC crowd are doing to these old comic legends. I didn't notice anybody in the audience walk out, not one. The fact is that these woke, offended by everything & everyone types are not the down to earth, don't take everything too serious, ordinary working class people who just want a night out and a laugh. Chubby is a National treasure and long may he refuse to change.👍
It's just part of a bigger agenda to further reduce freedom of speech and increase censorship.
chubby lived next door to my mums friend and she said he was the politest man you could ever meet and when he wasnt on stage as chubby he didnt swear either
@@KevinBrown-lv2fkjust one question, what was her name? Alice??? 😉🤣😂😁
@@themoderntemplar1567 As I posted above, I'm as left wing, PC as they come but I went to a Chubby gig. My problem was when he went on a rant about blacks, gays, asylum seekers, no punchline, just mean dog-whistle nonsense - he got a standing ovation but just got standard laughs for his actually excellent comedy material. It felt like his crowd there were more happy about his staged bigotry than the fact that he's actually funny.
Thing is, as you say Chubby is a nice guy in real life. My mate who invited me to the gig is a huge Chubby fan, to the point that Chubby & his wife treated him to dinner for his 30th birthday. Nice fella...
Off stage he is one of the quietest, easygoing and polite guys you could meet
Yeah people just believe he's actually racist bigot but it's just his character.
They said that about Hitler...
@@samuelgarrod8327 WHO????? only someone that was an idiot. looked in the mirror lately?
@@samuelgarrod8327 Trying to compare Roy chubby brown to fkn Hitler 🤦🤣 have a day off pal
@@samuelgarrod8327Are you comparing a comedian who hasn’t hurt anyone to Hitler?
Roy Chubby Brown - one of the best comedians. I heard a radio interview with him not that long ago. Genuinely nice guy.
I've seen him live, he was great. I was born about 40miles away from where he was born. Followed him for years, he does a lot for charity, he's a really nice bloke.
Same here. Seem him live in Newcastle loads and I love him. He's such a gent as well, the kindest soul you'll ever meet.
The ones he did in the 90s are golden and much funnier
Did you never listen to him in the 80's
@@Jim_Slip271 I 100% agree he was far better in the 80's.
@@Jim_Slip-hp5ed yeah but the twats ruined that
@@Jim_Slip-hp5edthat 80s comedy scene is well cancelled now with the offended left ….ah how so many miss out on that era
Comedy gold man no Camcorders were allowed back then for a reason 😂😂
Yeah and they would get this channel demonitised if not outright banned 🤣
Going to see Chubby in August in Blackpool been watching Chubby for 45 years now!!!
If I recall, Roy has donated a percentage of the proceeded from every gig he’s ever done to charity, something those who wish to cancel him forget. Comedy shows have always had warnings like “if easily offended do not attend”, but now we have these little dictators going around telling people what they should or shouldn’t find funny.
One of his DVDs starts with the caption “If you’re easily offended, stop watching now and f*#% off!” 🤣
Chubby mentioned Bernard manning. That's a comedian you should react to. One of the best old school comedians the uk ever produced.
The list is too long start from will hay
HAHAHA you're onto Chubbs! Here we go
Trainers = Sneakers. (Horse-Trainer) 🙂😁
You cant wear trainers(sneakers) in clubs because you had to wear shoes.
hes got about 40 cds to watch --- 1000s of quality jokes
Are you sure you didn't get those numbers the wrong way round?
They have it the right way round@@laserpanda94
u mean dvds hahaha 😂😂
@@jasonleemamanddad i would of put dvds.
i got cds of chubby
4:58 - For me, THE best joke of the set. I was CRYING from laughing so hard.
If that's the best joke, I won't bother watching 😊
Saw Chubs in Doncaster, Yorkshire, last December. He was wonderful.
Hadn't seen the whole show before either - loved it, many thanks. The trainers joke just relates to the difference between horse owners as 'trainers' and sports / running shoes - also known as 'trainers'. So the bouncers are not letting him in because he's not suitably attired for the nightclub.
I was watching the start of this yesterday and today you two are watching it. Brilliant
Watching him live is an intense experience, it's just relentless howling laughter everywhere.
Chubby!! Awesome you guys are doing this. I really hope you do more of his. The earlier stuff is gold!
One of the nicest guys I ever worked with
Chubby still performs ... Last time i was Blackpool this year ,, he was on
He's performing at great Yarmouth in the summer. My dad's a big fan and one of his wishes was always to see him live but don't sit near the front
That's why he's known as the Chubster
Chubby is great and has been going for decades. Mike Reid is another great stand-up that you might like.
Great to stumble across your channel! New sub from the UK! Cheers x
Chubby Brown is a true gentleman and a grate comic
My absolute hero..all his merchandise sales and meet n greets goes to cancer charities
The one you said you didn't get... In the UK "trainers" are what you call pumps, (running shoes)
It’s the racist parts why people stopped watching Chubby. In his day he was one of the best around.
Boor off
brads laugh when watching chubby brown i laugh with him them jokes are dead funny lol
Chubby is from a town just 30mins from me and has been well known up here for years. I went to see him live once in a club called The Barbary Coast, The place well and truly lived up to its name, it was just one mass brawl after another.
Fortunately I was in a large group from work, we were ok as nobody fancied their chances against 15 firefighters 🤣
Great video guys
When I turned 18 many moons ago. The first 18 adult thing I brought was Roy chubby browns, live from the helmit. Comedy at its best.
It's a character he plays ..he's a lovely guy .you should watch the documentary
Some of the stuff he used to say to people, they would wait for him after the show and kick the shit out of him.
@Jim-Slip I don't have to prove anything to a child
The story about the krays was a true story. He was much funnier years ago but still a laugh.
I went to see Chubby once. I laughed really hard throughout. But for the life of me, I couldn't remember a single joke, til the following evening 😂
Same. Was lucky enough to get tickets when he came local around the turn of the century. Loads of family and friends leaving afterwards and not one of us could remember a single joke, even though our ribs were still aching from laughing. Everything he said in the act was so crafted and timed to perfection it was like hypnotism.
I’ve never watched him before now , he’s funny 😂
Great stuff ya coupla legends👍love a bit of chubby, not for the fragile. Brad, I thought you were going to explode at the 'lion bar' gag🤣🤣cheers guys✌️🍻
Saw Chubby twice in the 70s, he was in a double act called "Alcock and Brown" if my memory serves me correctly.
What a great name for a comedy duo, perfect for his style of humour too lucky it wasn't 'Alcock in the Brown!' Now that as their name would have been so very funny! Don't you agree??? Specially it seems to be Chubbs's favourite or for Mastermind, his Specialist Subject! Do you agree on that one too? 😉🤣😂😁
Btw how about Ed Balls joining Alcock to make a duo, now that would be a sight to behold, or hold on to! 😉🤣😂😁
@@markdermody9698 🤣

This is brilliant.
Glad you 2 find him genuinely funny coz hes the best
I fuckin knew Brad would laugh at the fruit and nut joke 😂😂 good old Chubby Brown 😂
😁🤣
hi brad and lucy my belly ackying from this man love it 🤣🤣
His last joke about Bradford where he said his dead comedian friend said something and everybody presumed he said it ! That was a reference to just a week after the Bradford football stadium fire he went on stage and said you didn't invite me too your barbecue last week did you ! And there was rumours he had his legs broken for saying it !
I seen him live a month or two ago. He was hilarious.
My dad's favourite comic. It's even funnier these days because today's woke 'comedy' is so dire.
I saw him in the late 1990s he was brilliant live
I saw him in Glasgow 1995 and he was absolutely brilliant if people don’t like his act just don’t go don’t spoil it for everyone else remember it’s an act this man does loads for charity so cancel him then charities miss out.
I’ve seen chubby live 3 time I’m seeing him again next year and I’ve met him and got a picture with him to
Trainers = sneakers
watching from uk :)
I saw Chubby live once. My friend was fired unfairly from our place & after he bought a bunch of ticket for a few of us to see Chubby in York. Everyone else cried off so I wasn't going to leave him hanging even though the humour was not my thing at all - I'm a lefty type, social justice etc. It was.funny at times but the outright racist jokes got a standing ovation & the clever jokes got a golf clap.
Cry elsewhere you woke biatch
thats so funny u had to stop hahahaha
LEGEND
I used to work in a store that sold videos. We had some nuns return to our store who were angry about the video of the movie, "Jesus of Nazareth" they had bought from us.
We took the video back and everything looked fine with it. Playing it back, however, revealed they had watched Chubby Brown. Someone must have purposely put the Jesus of Nazareth label on the cassette (which WE didn't stock) just for that very purpose.
😮😂
Who’s the comedian he was talking about in Bradford at the end?
funniest man to ever live
Seen chubs live twice here in the UK he makes Jethro look tame,
I saw him last year and that was the best night of my life, Chubby is absolutely funny. The best part is at the end but you cannot see it on RUclips, after a short break he walks on naked with his private parts covered, it’s what he does that makes everybody laugh.
I've always wanted to visit Canada, can I come and stay with you guys? Seems like it would the best holiday ever 😆
🚬😮💨
Couple of manning jokes in there
I loved that video and all the better watching it with you
The comedy team The League of Gentlemen (should react to that!) named their fictional village after him Royston Vasey!
im from blackpool. out of characrtor hes not racist at all not sexist its all a charactor i used to work with him on the pier
So cool! 👍
The 1st time I heard tim vine as a gateway comedian to roy chubby brown 😊😂😂
Blackpool pier…. back in the good old days - chubby was brutal
You definitely need to check out 90s. That was his best comedy.
80's was his best ever
Glad you liked it guys! 🤪 Check out the other stuff I sent and keep em coming! 😂🤣🍻🍻🍻
Love chubbs😂
Some of his jokes would make a docker blush.
I know this has nothing to do with the content but I do love a bit of Chubby. Is that a stussy t shirt? Think I had that shirt in the late 1990s😉
Chubbs, fucking legend!
I had an assumption about Roy chubby brown that he would be the complete opposite of the comedy i normally like...thought he would be like one of those tacky old school comedians that arent really that funny...turns out i was completely wrong...he is slighlty old school but on a different level...he's one of the best by far.
Theres a reason he is a household name and The league of gentlemen named the town after him. Lol
So how many times did you say you went for a bang??? 🤣😂😁
loved this one, at least the USA ''hosts'' did not stop the video every minute or so to comment.
Canadian actually 😃
Roy
is ace, always bump into him in Scartho Spar
Hi Lucy and Brad great episode keep them up if you like music Kevin bloody Wilson and his daughter Jenny Talia are fantastic
You should watch Bernard manning he's really good as well.
Greggs pastie . Greggs are a bakery chain in the UK
lmao ffs this was funny as fk but what made it more funny was lucy face on some of the joke like the lion bar priceless :) and brad in hysterics :) when you need chearing up you can always rely on you two to do that :) thank you
😁
I saw him live once and I was crying with laughter..
I'm more into Stewart Lee these days .. I've matured
Call me crazy I'm kinda glad that he's still going, it's not really evident in this clip, but he used to be way more racist, to the extent that many cities and towns in the UK would not and still do not allow him to perform at their venues.
Royston Vasey is the best!! 🇬🇧
Hi Brad&Lucy 🌼
Hope You Both are well... & ENJOYing this Beautiful Weather.
Thankyou for this Upload & Reaction, so FUNNY - could You REACT to : Dana Carvey's Critic's Choice (it's available on RUclips)

I swearing is nothing . I managed to find some saying F..k off to the tune of hello
I'm genuinely surprised and impressed that you can not only understand the accent but also the slang terms!
I don't know about technology so I have to do it this way. Emmey Lou Harriss? Hard Bargain. Slow burner for me but great when you get it. That's not a pun. Fu*k 'em. Anther day of madness. Luv it. ❤
Watch Mick Miller, he's hilarious and clever
try jim davison hes jethro friend also a comedian.they bounce off each others its funny,he does impression of jetho very funny.
You should check out bernard manning or mike reid
This is how British comedy used to be. I say used to be. 😑So blessed I grew up with the good stuff before the idealogues took over.
Edit: Nice to see the nipples/guitar are still the frame set up. :)
Chubb's is good but not as good as Jethro.
It's not mainstream. It's the limit. Not everyone's taste. Still a lot of wit though.
It was the norm.... back in England. Work and laugh hard
Sorry its a bit smelly down there, i got arthritis.
You got arthritis in your fanny??
No. I got it in my arm and i cant reach round to wipe my arse!!
🤣
😂🤣👍✌️
Mick Miller is good .
Checkout some Bernard Manning, very similar.
I've watched him live he's brilliant
Very blue comedian
