You are a saint
ty i used to have this dvd
That guitar tone is incredible
Drop B tuning.
Jesse Casey it's drop G# pal
wrong, this era was drop A. They now play in G# and it's way shitty. This is the golden era of TAS
Eric Payne couldn't have said it any better
Necro time. Why is there an overdubbed guitar track on the recording, like the harmony on the pinch harmonics.....only one guitar player?
Still 🔥in 2020
Their drummer is so solid live...awesome
Still the best live guitar tone I've ever heard.
Overdubs will do that ;)
True
What I'd give to go back in time and re-live this.
Right there with you bro turning 29 next month lol
I played with my band in this show, I was literally 13.
Fuck me, amazing energy.
They really need another live DVD.
they made another called, the most unknown.
920connor still not as good as this though
they were a perfect band here
Fact
This was a legendary show.
was this in Holyoke?
Fuck yea I was there
Fact
THE WATERFRONT WAS THE PLACE TO BE DURING THIS ERA!
I miss playing shows here so much!
Western Mass get it poppin
Fuck yea bro so many amazing bands that are blown now that we saw start off there I was at every acacia and ligeia show there
i recognize this venue from molotov solution lol. never been to MA tho
@@rarecandy3445 way later comment but yeah! The Awakening music video!
I was in a band called jUNT. We played there a bunch!!@@donnybaker6380
This is real music...get the fans involved it's all love..embrace what's real
One of the best live concerts of all time
Yes without a doubt.
I remember having just gotten into metalcore and deathcore at like 14, and this kept coming up on my feed. This was the first thing I ever saw from TAS, and I’m still a fan to this day.
the audio is so great!
Better then the recorded songs lul
No joke it was like 200 degrees in there.
Nick nogueira that’s so fucked
Welcome to any summer show at the waterfront.
I'm so jealous
always is
Always is..
I was 17 at this.. fucking phenomenal!
Lucky human
I like half of these versions of the songs so much that I watch this video all the time just to listen to them hahah.
DL's guitar tones over everything.
i love shows like this, hardcore/metalcore/punk/ any music like that the band should be close to the crowd not seperated by security
watched this so many times everytime I wish Iwas there even more
this is the perfect setlist
setlist is brilliant
still my favorite live video of all time
Yes!!
My too! Check Chariot - Perth
I love showing this shit to people that think the heaviest music is like Korn and 5-finger death punch. lol
Infant annihilator makes five finger sound like kids bop
Maybe those bands are heavy for them lol which is no bashing towards them but know some people just dont know
But shit the first 5fdp album was pretty heavy but this is just like hardcore so different type of heavy
mass finest rh
Just got my tickets to see them in December, stoked!!
Love every album but this lineup was ELITE
So true! I mean wow talent!!
Those riffs wow
Sounds like a fucking demon lol kickass
The Carbomb does it for me everytime!
'' NOT FUCKING IMPRESSED.. ''
MrJambiwana This is the Carbomb... eat shit
4:30. Tom Hanks on Vox
lolled
I love it
No lie, I was recommended Saving Private Ryan after watching this vid by RUclips.
Criminally underrated comment
Fuckinradical Wilson!
this quality is fucking amazing for a live video
This band will forever be in my top 3. I love how they've grown from this. It's like they've grown with me.
Ten years later i realize how silly these children were
Tuning is still perfect 9 years later.
i wish they would play this set every show
Had to come back to say that was an awesome show (I was there).. and anyone who knows this place knows it smells like concrete and urine. The piss overpowered the sweat. The building was about to fall down.
I love seeing these guys live.i didn't start listening to them until 2013 or2014.ive seen them 5 times since.they never disappoint
when shit is real it never dies. Probably one of the few recent videos that has that feeling from the early 2000`s core. nice
I wish they would have played smoke ya later
Dang. Never really appreciated how good that vocalist is.
One of the best crowds ive ever seen
This looks like such a perfect gig!
could watch this video over again
This is incredible! Lucky crowd! Those riffs!
Absolutley fuckin sick, really hope to catch these guys if they ever come to england
my favorite heavy band. every album is fucking killer.
Never seen such a good video for a metal show. The sound and camera angles all top notch
Seeing a lot of recent comments here and I just wanna say I’m glad I’m not the only one who comes back to this still ha
Holy shit ! Those riffs are fucking sick !!
I have been watching this video for over a decade. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you.
These guys are the definition of hardcore.
The best sound I've ever heard from a live video
I played with these guys at Chain Reaction. Tune low Die slow was the best tour I've ever played on.
i saw them at the webster undeground in Hartford,CT. best fucking show of my life.
The first time I ever saw these guys, was in a venue very similar to this, a joint called FUBAR. Anyways, I watch like six people almost get murdered. One guy had his forehead hanging over his eyeballs. Shit was insane. Loved every second.
Wow, their guitarist is RIDICULOUSLY tight :o
Years and years later the opening of this set just gives me fucking goosebumps. This band has aged like a fine wine, but this set is just iconic
I've never been let down at their shows! I miss 2005!
This is always great for a rainy day
Haha it's raining here today and I thought about this show and here I a lol
One of the best hardcore/deathcore bands imo.
My props to the editor..! TIGHT AS FUCK..!
that is a sick fucking All Shall Perish tank top he's got on
Shit looks like take out from a movie scene
I love it!!
Its sick dude, one of the best live performances ever
seen these guys 4 times. love them!!
8:40 that guitar sound baaaaaaabyyyy
This sounds soooo good. I wish more live videos had this quality.
Good support from the crowd...impressive...glad metal of any style hasn't let up much any\,,/ keep it brutal\,,/
And the last one in angry mob justice. Those are my favorite 2. When Vincent says push these people back during the last breakdown in angry mob justice it's so fucking hype
Yup... that time of the year again
And again 🏋♂️
And again?
Here we are
This is single handely the most craziest concert ive ever seen in my life ...its amazing ..
Their guitar player is somehow playing in drop F on a esp les paul. Crazy!
+Jonathan Raquet thick strings and/or longer scale. Not too hard :)
+Jonathan Raquet This stuff is in drop A I'm pretty sure, only after 2010 they used 8 strings in Drop F.
+Jonathan Raquet I think i've looked at the tabs and can recognize by the opens that it's in drop A flat that's what i play in with my band. Not playin this kind of beat downy stuff but i think its so easy to manipulate into a shitload of sounds.
+Robert Flugge Drop G# actually.
+PhuchxpH drop G# is drop A flat lmao. Idk if you were joking or not... But yeah, enharmonic notes
Number one on my bucket list. See The Acacia Strain in concert.
i have seen them live 3 times and i cant get enough of them! such an amazing band!
I've seen them live like 7 or 8 times over the past 5 years. They never disappoint and its always insane.
19:03 epic transition.
R.I.P. this Lineup
Have seen them in Brighton UK - AWESOME SHOW !
this is awesome may metal live on for ever
Now this is a fucking show right here...I wish i could have been there Spin kicks all fucking day....
Fuck yeah bro end someone’s life
it's awesome...IT'S AWESOME...it's awesome show...
This is a real metal show!
love it 2021!
hope you enjoy it, those guys are frickin fun!
19:04 As If Set Afire
my favorite Acacia Strain song tbh
The part from 20:51 when it picks up is the most adrenaline pumping shit I think I have yet to hear. This band makes you want to punch a hole through steel.
I am seeing these guys live this weekend. I am not usually into this kind of music and was going more for Veil Of Maya and Volumes but since watching this video I am stoked to see them. I had no idea they sounded this good live.
Insane. How did they make this incredible show.
A shit ton of practice.
its perfect. has the fullness of a live show, unlike so many live videos.
ur right wow. just like that i am convinced
this live dvd is so badass! TAS is amazing!
This was the best show I've been too.
dude! so glad to see this! i was there with 19 years old! thank you!!
i love how interactive he is with the crowd! :D
I feel like they are leading a workout program with all these mosh calls.
Just was listening to emmure live then listened to this and wow what a difference. So much better
I put on this DVD and hardcore dance and have my own lil Acacia Strain show in my one bedroom apartment every night before i go to bed.
This is the actual epitome of hardcore.
Bro fest 2012. And I'm hella jelly I wasn't there.
This was posted on 2012 but this concert was before that right? I figured in 2012 they'd be playing way more new songs.
And was this version of the group touring together in 2012? I thought dl for sure had left by 2012 and wasn't touring with them.
So this was 2008 the same year continent came out I saw them this same year in Rochester ny at the penny arcade. One of the greatest shows I've ever been to. Acacia strain and all hardcore music really fell off after this time period which is why I would've been mind blown if this was 2012.
saw them with terror and gaza. best show i've ever been to.
Insane how good they sound in this video.
